  1. Pork Roll!! What do you call it when it's made by Case or Hatfield or Loeffler's??? They all call it, "PORK ROLL". My cousin went to school with one of the Case girls and when I was at Coleman Olds in the 70's we sold lots of cars to Taylor Provisions. They were always mentioned as "Taylor Pork Roll's cars". I guess if it's made by Taylor you can call it Taylor Ham. Otherwise it's PORK ROLL! I have been eating it as long as I can remember and always preferred Case's as it had a little more flavoring. These days I get PORK ROLL from Cartlidge Meats in the Trenton, Farmers Market.
  2. Renting a place that does not allow pets and then trying to force them to, is like buying a house next to the airport and complaining about all the planes coming and going. Find a place that allows pets!!!!!!
  3. We need to keep writing to our so called representatives in government. Lots of really easy ways to do it. Visit Hornady, Ruger, , S&W, NRA-ILA, GOA Also go to individual Senators web sites to urge them to do the right thing. Restricting our targets to Menendez and Lautenberg is not going to do much for us. When they see the message they probably just put it straight in the trash. Write to legislators that are on the fence to help them feel better about voting right. Don't forget to thank the ones that speak out for our rights. I send at least two emails every day and today's total so far is six.
  4. This is the state approved version. http://www.liveleak....=34a_1317870586 No worries they will open it for you.
  5. Maybe someone is impersonating you on an automatic email service like NRA/ILA uses except ,for the other side. All they have to do is fill out the form and click on send. That would be my first guess as to why you are getting thanked for sending your opinion for the laws. I am sure both sides of the issue send stuff and the recipients will respond with a form letter in both cases.
  6. Some of us have had different experience with this dealer. http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/26398-herbert-leroy-stout-ffl-nfg/page__hl__stout__fromsearch__1
  7. Yeah! It's OK for highly trained professionals to have "assault weapons" but ordinary citizens wouldn't be safe. Link!
  8. Keep the fight going. Send a message or two! Here are easy ways to do it. Smith & Wesson auto emailer. GOA Email/letterl Wiz NRA/ILA Get Involved. Ruger. There are probably more. If you know of a site list it for us!
  9. Here ya go. i think these came from Harry's around 1976 or so. They go with my S & W M19-3 I bought then.
  10. You must be waiting for something from Midway. I ordered some powder on Jan. 12th. When I ordered they said " ships in 3-4 weeks from manufacturer". After 3 weeks I inquired and see the same thing when it was available "ships in 10-12 weeks from manufacturer". I inquired as to my order that was supposed to ship in 3-4 weeks and pretty much got the "run around". Still waiting for that. Also ordered same exact thing from Grafs on Feb. 5th and they say it will ship next week. I'll believe it when I see it. Oh, and Midway debited my credit card immediately too. Grafs did not and say they will when it ships. Waiting patiently for 16 lbs of expensive powder. Sure hope it is as good as advertised.
  11. It works better if you stick your head under and agitate the mixture by blowing bubbles. I can't believe anyone that buys a gun like that wouldn't know to use a little salt in the water too. Then if you leave it long enough it will disappear altogether.
  12. The reason for the commission is so the Governor does not have to state his position. He will most likely just go with the recommendations, giving himself cover. He probably will not take a stand, either way.
  13. For precision "out of the box" take a look at the FNH SPG A3G. Even I, frequently get sub .5 MOA groups. Best to date has been .21" @ 100 yards. That's for five shots with Federal Gold Medal Match 168 gr. ammo. Well worth the money at $2550.00 from Grab-a-Gun in Texas. Might be hard to find now though.
  14. Why don't you check it out for yourself. I'd give you a link but it might be fake. OK, try latimes.com
  15. Maybe they're afraid citizens will return fire when mistakenly attacked. This story is real http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-torrance-shooting-20130209,0,4414028.story I don't know about the other one.
  16. Great turnout! And, great speakers. I estimate there were close to 3000 in attendance and called 101.5 to straighten them out. They reported "2 senators and 300 people". It is just the beginning though we now must follow through with even more participation. Thanks to all that came out on such a nasty day.
  17. Gee guys, you can still get this stuffhttp://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-223
  18. I participated in a NAGR poll and immediately started to get daily Email requests for money. They did subsequently honor my request to stop. Before I clicked on their poll I had never heard of them. YMMV.
  19. I haven't read the whole article yet. Could you point out the errors for the poor souls that don't know?
  20. Here's a event to use. A mass murder at a school that didn't happen because there was a good woman with a gun there. http://tnsmartgirl.c...did-not-report/
  21. Now is the time to put up or shut up! If you have not joined the NRA, GOA, SAF, NJ2AS, JPFO or donate to similar organizations, now is the time to do so! If you are already a member at one, donate additional dollars or join an additional organization. I know there are members here that don't like the NRA but I think at this time they are the best shot to fight the attempts to take our firearms. Become a life member through a current life member. Any life member can sign you up for a $300.00 life membership right now. If you are already a life member step up to Endowment for $250.00. This anti-gun stuff has to be shut down now. No compromises! Don't respond to this post except to tell how you contributed. Don't forget February 8th at the State House. Be there!! I may have spoken too soon on the upgrades to membership. Looks like the $300.00 deal is for new members only. I'm trying to verify and will clarify as soon as possible. 13:15 I just spent about fifteen minutes trying to get clarification from NRA and was told I could sign up anyone for the reduced rate with a gift membership. I am not completely convinced though. My paper notice sent through snail mail does not have any disclaimers but the web page does.
  22. A recent thread about Palmetto State Armory and my personal experience with PSA prompted this post. I have always touted PSA for ammo because of their good prices and have made several purchases from them. Recently I ordered 400 rounds of Fed Premium Gold Medal 308. Ordered July 23, 2012. Not shipped for nine days! Yes, they charged me for shipping but one excuse for the delay was they were "slammed with orders because of their free shipping deal". Any way I finally got my ammo on August 3, 2012. When I emailed and called, the first thing out of their mouths was did you send a copy of your DL and FPID? I of course said "yes three years ago. Are they not still on file?" They are. They did not even want to check on my order just said if I don't get a tracking number tomorrow call again. Next I ordered 300 rounds of Fed Premium Gold Medal 308 from Glen's Army Navy Store on August 6, 2012. Same price by the way. It was shipped on the same day and arrived today! A total of 4 days start to finish! I think I will keep Glen's in mind and forget about Palmetto State Armory. I'm spoiled. I am used to Places like Midway USA, Cabela's and a store called Grab a Gun in Texas. Grab a Gun had the same price as Buds for my last rifle but It arrived at Vinny's in 5 days from Texas. Buds would have waited 4 days to process the order. Just my experience, You mileage may vary.
