  1. Only 1.2% of FID holders reported anything, so they know they're looking at 98.8% that won't comply. They aren't going to go door to door lol. Just as in CA, the police departments are all posting notices that they won't enforce SB2 and their "protected spaces" bill that equals everything but streets and some sidewalks offlimits for CCW permit holders.
  2. Yes, this is for an injunction. The full 7th hasn't heard it yet, which makes it hilarious that the antis are celebrating this hard for just the denial of injunction. SCOTUS only hears about 65 cases a year now, down from 150ish, so they're going to let the other AWB, magazine and related 2A cases pile up a bit and combine them. Even the NY case just blatantly ignored or intentionally misinterpreted parts of Bruen, so they'll be clarifying for sure. Edit, 7th en banc denied to retry, so the appeal was filed again. The only times SCOTUS has chimed in on these cases has been those that went through the entire process, so I think that's why the initial denial. With the way courts are shitting all over Bruen, they're going to have to chime in. 7th saying AR-15's don't classify as "arms" is a joke.
  3. SCOTUS refused to grant an injunction, so the process continues. Appealed to the full 7th, and then it will get petitioned to SCOTUS. It sucks for those in Illinois, but actually granting the injunction would have most likely made it less likely SCOTUS would have taken up the case quickly. With similar cases in multiple courts, I think they're waiting on them to reach SCOTUS together and combine them instead of piecemeal solving this
  4. How long have I been gone???

  5. I dont know about that. Catholics are getting slaughter an mass in the middle east,Africa,India and southeast Asia. I would say they are the most persecuted at this date in time. We dont see it on the news mush but if you look for it you will find it. Scores are killed whole villages wiped out. I even read an article on Christians being spat upon in Israel while walking to mass. http://www.revisionisthistory.org/talmud1.html What I meant was the recent persecution of Christianity is relatively new compared to Jewish history. They're even finding proof that some Indians had relics with ancient Hebrew on it, yet its been suppressed. But in today's society, its perfectly ok to bash Christians. Even question Muslims and you're labeled intolerant. And who's slaughtering those in the middle east, Africa, India and southeast Asia?
  6. If you'd like someone to post all the crazy, horrific and hateful stuff that's in the Bible, let me know. There are a lot of real doozies. Hint: a lot of you need to be killing your non-virgin daughters tonight.... That's Sharia law. Did you read any of my post? Where do any Christians follow the Old Testament as law? The Old Testament is the history of the Jewish people leading up to the birth of Jesus. Christianity follows the words of Jesus, but you have to know the history. You have to know where you came from and why. The Old Testament is recognized by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. They split at the New Testament. That's where the Tor'ah and Qu'ran come in. Do you ignore history when you react to modern day news? All I did was state fact. I didn't push Christianity. Did I preach? Look at history. Jews were persecuted and are still in self defense mode in the middle east. Christianity has stayed the same. Islam is spreading by force, even non-violent force in the way of mass immigration in Europe, effectively taking over. Judaism and Christianity don't force you to believe what they believe. You specifically have to ask to convert. When a country becomes a Mulsim majority, its convert or die. Before they have a majority, they're all moderate. But don't take my word for it, just look up news from 1970 on in Europe and look at the slow progression. Look, I don't hate muslims. I'm just someone who pays attention. I don't hate anyone. You can ignore the Qu'ran, and just look at history and come to the same conclusions. I'm not asking anyone to believe it or start distrusting anyone. Just be vigilant. Be as vigilant as you would be in your own self defense. Pay attention. Why is tolerance a one way street?
  7. Same here. I am offended by this nonsense as well. This would be like reading the bible at face value and saying "Here's 3 things you did not know about Christianity": Leviticus says to put to death anyone who wears clothing made of more than one fiber (death to poly/cotton blend wearers) and Leviticus also says to put to death anyone who works on the sabbath, though the good book is less clear about WHICH day is the sabbath so I guess we'll just have to stone everyone who worked a Saturday or Sunday just to be safe  Leviticus also says it's OK to own slaves from neighboring nations but not from your own, so I guess that means its OK to enslave Canadians? Anything written in ancient times, especially religious texts, will say some "silly" things. It's up to us as intelligent people to understand that not everyone is bat sh*t crazy to actually take it to heart. In this country we have freedom of religion for ALL people. "The United States is not in any sense founded upon the Christian religion" - Treaty of Tripoli, turn of the 19th century, look it up. As for me I'm wearing cotton poly blend (what can I say, I love Dickies and gym shorts) and have worked many a weekend in my life unfortunately. I'm not worried about anyone stoning me because I know 99.999999% of people aren't that crazy So you're offended that people question Islam, yet turn around and attack Christianity? Hipocracy much? The Old Testament isn't the basis for Christianity. The bible is 2 parts. The old testament is the history, the New Testament is the guide. Yes, the Jewish laws and traditions were harsh back in the day. Both Christianity and Judaism recognize that you have to know where you came from to get where you're going. Much like school. Know you're history. And I love the treaty of Tripoli. Take 1 line to overlook everything else written or done previously. The country was founded on the principles and morals of the Christianity, but not exclusively. They also made it clear that "we the people" were free to choose, and the government itself, which carried the name "The United States" was not permitted to set an official religion. To say the United States were founded on Christianity would have made the treaty unconstitutional. In the 1700's, everything wasn't lumped together as Christianity as it is today. You were Quaker, Catholic, Protestant, Christian, Lutheran, Baptist, etc.. So to say Christianity back then doesn't mean what it means today. If the treaty was worded with Christianity, it would have caused riots among the other sects of religions of the day. Read the Declaration of Independence. For those that don't believe in a God, who gave you you're God-Given rights? Everyone has a freedom to any religion they choose. But it doesn't mean you shouldn't be vigilant. I could create a group that thinks killing and raping are a good thing, then call it a religion. Does that mean I have a right to do those things? The Bible specifically says that the law of the land takes precedence, where around the world Islam is forming Sharia courts in the countries they expand in. When you see courts making decisions that respect religions, its time to worry and be more vigilant. And nothing in the video is false. It's all in the Qu'ran. If you're offended by the truth, maybe you need to do some research and fact check it. Then sit back and make your own decision. Its more troubling that people get offended when people question Islam, yet don't say a word when someone questions Judaism or Christianity.
  8. Paypal only takes 3%, which is pretty normal considering most credit cards charge 3-7% depending on the company. They can use a bank account, check or any credit card on there. As long as you aren't selling guns or ammo, its fine. It also eliminates the need for a merchant account to accept credit cards.
  9. At first glance, his commending Heston for his speech is spot on, but the argument beings to get thin. The Columbine Shootings weren't done in the name of religion. It isn't a trend that high school students occasionally go nuts and shoot up their schools. So Heston's speech makes perfect sense in that regards. 19 people flew planes into buildings in the name of a religion and it was cheered around the world. Not the same thing. Mcveigh didn't blow up the federal building in the name of religion. No one is questioning the constitutional right to build the mosque. And its those families, relatives and friends of victims 1st amendment rights to voice their opposition. You could argue that the 1st amendment has limitations built into free speech where it comes to hate speech and speech that is dangerous to others. Is investigating the funding preventing their rights? We are at war, and when a religion that has a vast sect of those that take the Qu'ran literal, precaution is wise. No one agrees with those that say no mosques should be built ever. No one is trying to infringe the rights of Mulsims by being aware of the risks. It doesn't equal the 2nd amendment arguments because the violence done with guns doesn't even approach the violence muslims around the world are doing. We as gun owners understand that NICS is a required system, or should understand it. A simple background check to make sure you aren't a criminal or crazy is a good thing. NJ has gone over the line when it comes to permits, a list of bans, etc.. We're not the only state. Having a check for terrorism built into the only religion that every terrorist act has been committed in the name of, isn't unreasonable. Stewart is funny, and it was a nice piece, but its a show piece. You can't get laughs just by stating the facts. And the left immediately jumps to calling it religious bigotry, instead of actually looking at it from a sensitivity viewpoint. If you can't argue the facts, attack. Its their calling card. And they've used it for every issues since the tea party started. They can't debate the facts for the stimulus, the health care bill, the financial regulations, and every other mass spending bill. So blame the other side and attack. Stand up for your freedoms, you're a racist. Ask serious questions, you're a bigot. The people aren't standing for it anymore.
  10. Well shooting them in to space would be ideal IF they could find a clear lane to shoot it through, but since NASA was changed into Muslim outreach, lets just let them shoot it over to the Middle East. Kill two birds with one stone.
  11. Like pk90 stated, you can't make up your own rules. And the 30 day limit has already been ruled out via the NJ supreme courts. Its a guideline, not a hard deadline, especially since they have to process everything through the state police. Every township is completely different, some day a week, some take 6 months plus. Also, NICS is NJ's own system that is run by the State Police, not the national system. Yes its redundant, but it has no bearing on your permits. Also, since NJ doesn't have the 2a in its state constitution, the line that says is only half right. Its now a constitutional right, although NJ still hasn't recognized the decision, but its not a statutory right. Its illegal to own any firearms UNLESS you exempt yourself by obtaining the FID. So until you go through the hoops of getting one, which is taking alot longer because alot more are applying for FID's and permits and they haven't hired more people to pick up the slack. You'll get a quicker response if you call the State Police and just tell them what you were told. The local offices give and recieve the paperwork, do the fingerprints and then the chief signs. Everything else is done by the state police. If they already processed it, they'll get on the Chief's case to get it done. Bitching to the chief might just make him put off signing it some more. Appointed officials could care less about taxpayers as long as the mayor is happy.
  12. Criminal cases won't set precedent for the type of litigation that would effect us. If anything, it would only strengthen the fact that the laws hurt law abiding citizens more than criminals. More criminal charges just make things easier for us because they can see that the measures already in place don't effect criminals at all. NJ is special. But cases in California, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, and New York all have special signifigance for us because like NJ, none of those states have the 2a in their state constitutions. NJ even goes as far as having the firearm section as a subsection of the criminal code, where owning firearms is illegal, and then the legality is granted via exceptions. Now that McDonald pushed the 2a to every state, you could argue that our entire firearm section is unconstitutional. Much to big a case to go at right away. The existing cases in California are much further along already, so we have to wait for those to play out. And the Case in NY is a better case because of the makeup of the court. I'd have to double check, but I believe its more even than ours, at least until Christie gets his appointment on. Patience is key.
  13. I'll be there monday. I was there talking to Milton when you walked in. I gave him the heads up that you were coming in. I've been pre-occupied with being employed while most of this has been starting but I should be able to make most of the meetings.
  14. Immigration status is imprinted on driver's licenses in *some* states, and if someone is detained while someone else has to bring his wallet over. The BS about "having to show papers" is just that BS. Its federal law that every legal immigrant has to always have his/her green card/passport on them. They're trying to compare it to Nazi Germany on false basis. If innocent people forget to carry ID on them and are inconvenienced for a few hours, I bet they won't forget next time. The law is the law and "forgetting' isn't a viable excuse. If someone was arrested for hitting someone while driving drunk, would you feel sorry for the guy that "forgot" he was drinking? Remember, they aren't just going up to people and saying "you look illegal, show us ID", they're running checks on people already stopped or arrested. And all they have to do is run your social security # through e-verify and it will show name, etc.. so you either back it up in some way or you're processed for being illegal. Its not like they're going to keep someone in jail for weeks mistakenly unless they refuse to actually run the ID's. All you do is use your phone call to have someone bring your ID to the station, have the officer accompany you to your house where you forgot it, or have an officer go to the house and retrieve it.
  15. yup, even after 2 dui's. They only have about 300 beds nationwide to house those waiting for deportation, so he wasn't considered risky enough. How does someone with 2 dui's get a license??
