I agree, every gun owner should protest on the streets of the capital, donate money, and call/write their representatives(both state and federal). We as a community need to put up a peaceful fight. In the past I have bitched at the "old timers" who were around when NJ's draconian gun laws were first passed because they didn't do enough. Now is the time for my generation to step up and stop whatever new bull shit laws come down the pipeline. Ill see you all at the 2/8/13 rally.

From my experience a lot of dept's guns are placed in lock boxes when they enter processing area in the station. Is that a NJ AG guideline or just a practice a lot of dept's use for officer safety to prevent shit like this. Speedy recovery for these guys I hope... Wonder how long till the family sues the dept for wrongful death... Smh

This rail line is the busiest in the country. Luckily this wasn't a car of HF... I was there all day yesterday and it was a cluster fugg. ERG guidlines are 1/2 mile evacuation which didn't happen. Everyone in the hot zone should have been on scba. There were many responders directly exposed to this.

Spare mags are loaded and stored in GI ammo cans. HD mags are loaded with premium HD ammo and in the gun with one in the pipe. My bulk ammo is stored in 500rd quantities loose in 30cal ammo cans. Random oddlots are stored in boxes in ammo cans. 38 special, 308 hunting stuff, HD ammo.

There is more to this story however I can't discuss it. Things like this happen all the time in the university areas of Philly. Suburban white kid moves to college (this is literally across the street from Rowan) and cut into current "rough" drug dealers area. Said "rough" dealers lay a beat down and rob the new suburban white kids for creeping into their territory.

I have said it once and will say it again... Steve Sweeny is pro-gun. He has voted as such and is on the record with various news papers saying it. Sweeny would be the "best realistic" option.
