  1. Buy the gun online and get it transferred at vinnys in millstone twp. Cheapest and easiest solution
  2. it is perfectly legal for the manufacturer to send the gun directly back to you, handgun or long gun. that being said, it is also perfectly legal for the CMP to ship a rifle directly to your house, that was, until a new jersey resident that didnt know this, went and called the state police or AG office and asked if it was possible. guess what happened next. they may use the same justification they used for the CMP situation to bar us from having our own property shipped directly to us, IF someone is stupid enough to call the state police for clarification. not saying that any board regulars would do this, but anyone else reading.. DONT CALL THE STATE POLICE, OR THE GOVERNORS OFFICE, OR ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION AND ASK THIS QUESTION
  3. why are we telling the officer where we are heading? where am i legally required to do that... ive never been pulled over for a moving violation (so ive never experienced anything like this line of questioning), and im sure every officer is different, but they dont need to know where I am going, hell, they dont even need to know whats in my car, unless they miracle up a reason to search my vehicle. if they asked if i had knives, guns or rocket launchers in the car, im not sure if I would say nothing at all, or say "nothing illegal" . do you guys really keep p2p's in the car or with the handguns? do some of you actually have voluntary registration forms on file with the PD? Hell, the only reason i keep my FID on me is to make it easy if I decide to go out and spend some money on a new longgun. I keep active pistol permits with arms reach for the same reason, spur of the moment firearm purchases, not so random state trooper X can say "Papiere bitte" at the border checkpoint......
  4. how much did you pay, im in the market for another G22. was it a gen3, gen4, or gen3 RTF2?
  5. if your ever in monmouth county, and see a man outside mowing the lawn with a springfield MC operator strapped to his hip in a serpa holster, you may have just found out where i live.
  6. i thought this was an april fools joke, then i looked at the clock and realized it was still november... good luck explaining to the cops how it was legal for you to purchase a handgun over state lines without a pistol permit, bring it back, and are seeking to get it registered so you can discharge it within city limits in your own back yard. bring a toothbrush. and see you in 6-18 months, depending on how long your stuck in the legal system. disclaimer : while it is technically legal to bring in the bbgun from out of state, since the nj law only restricts the sale, not possession, it is un-neccisary to bring it to a police department to get registered, and it is most likely illegal for you to discharge it, since most discharge laws dont make a distinction between bb guns and real guns, and if your doing this because you cant fire your real gun in your back yard, you are going to be SOL
  7. if your close to brick armory and shore shot your also close to CJRPC. only 200 a year, and you get great outdoor facilities plus a 24 hour indoor range the same size as shoreshot.
  8. if you guys are taking critiques on the design.... the font of the blurb under the gun looks straight out of the 1970's. (also its way too long) the 1911 is horrendously out of proportion. a 3 hole trigger (2 different sized holes btw) and a spur style hammer? who mixes and matches like that on a real one? magazine in the gun, yet the hammer is down.... it should be condition one. last but not least, those sights look useless. (rear sight is way too low) if you guys want to keep it like that fine, but your not gonna get a whole lot of respect from the AR15 owners crowd when you show them your brand new gun built on a lower with an abortion of a high point manufactured 1911 etched on the side. the details matter.
  9. first of all. now that thats out of the way, you should not have to explain your actions on your private property to the police.
  10. Ah...range ammo...I never go to ranges that require you to buy/shoot their ammo. Its always at a crazy inflated price. I think it's a fair policy, and while their prices are of course inflated, they're not that horrible. .50 cents a round for 9mm IS horrible. its twice the price of what ammo is costing online right now. there is nothing fair about that...
  11. Whats wrong with paintball? why hurl 3/4" hollow plastic balls full of paint at some guy @ 300fps ,when you can shoot IPSC or IDPA. (unless of course you are an 1337 tacticool 0p3rA7oR decked out in multicam, plastic facemask and condor brand vest to hold your gas tanks and extra hoppers for doing tactical reloads) my chest rig holds 8 AR mags, i wonder how many co2 bottles it will hold? oh yeah one more thing... how do you guys aim with that ass ugly paint can on the top?
  12. a few weeks ago i road-tripped with a buddy to something like 14 walmarts in PA. i got carded for my drivers license in a few, but nothing more than that. also, paintball ? :?
  13. That's a drive for most but doable. I think that's right by Arms-N-Ammo, maybe he could fill us in on some details. arfcom has had several shoots at south jersey. great place. but proper organization is a necessity. and you need to have current and active members inside the club to make that happen. last time, we each had to pay the club, sign waivers, all kinds of stuff. well worth it, but you have to follow their rules to get a firing line reserved for a group.
  14. why, oh why, oh why, oh why, oh why, oh why, oh why did you buy a jennings, after reading all the shit about them online? it just seems like a waste of a valuable pistol permit.
  15. Yeah the P45 has 2 14 rounders and 1 15 rounder, lawd knows why they arent all 15 rounders I wanted a high cap .45, especially the way i shoot, I will need all 15 to get one on the paper I think the 14 round mag is flush and the 15 rounder has a little bit of plastic on the bottem of the magazine sticking out. this
