  1. J.UNEITL Scope and a custom stock. My grandfather mostly used this Sako to hunt groundhogs in Illinois. He would drive around with it and a sandbag in the back seat of his car, pull of to the side of the road and through the sandbag and the rifle on top of the car. That is until he noticed all the scorch marks across the roof of the car. He was an interesting man. Apparently he was quite accurate at 300+ yard with this rifle. I haven't had an opportunity to take it out yet though.
  2. This law is pretty confusing. I was just in the local PD picking up a permit and I asked the Officer responsible for issuing permits when it would be in effect. He said he thought it was October but he really didn't have any information on it and doubted they would even let him know when it was in effect. So if the local PD doesn't know how it works how are we supposed to. And what happens if you do decide in the future to pick up something like a Beretta Stampede Matched set? Pay for it and ask your FFL or dealer to hang on to one of them for a month? I don't think a lot of thought went into this law before they passed it.
  3. I thought the prices were pretty decent. The trick is (and I'm not sure why they do the pricing this way) to look at the back of the tag. The price tag on display is basically list price, so you have to request to look at the gun to see the real price.
  4. I second this, I saw this thread today and took a drive over. Nice selection and friendly people. Don't know why I was driving 45min to an 1 1/2 hours to do my gun shopping. Decent prices too.
