  1. I understood that you could shoot a pistol at the 100 yard range if you were bench shooting - I could be wrong, but I'm too lazy to check the site :\ The pistol range is 25/50 already, but I haven't seen any turning targets. There is a .22 plinking (Silhouette) range with 'falling targets'; not sure what that means. http://www.anjrpc.org/?cherry_ridge http://www.anjrpc.org/?rangerules
  2. Perhaps here in NJ, but OH has pretty lax gun laws, in fact OH has a Brady grade of 7 this year (down from 9 last year). In comparison, NJ has a 72. http://www.bradycamp...ring_system.pdf So this will only hurt the 2A cause in OH, and perhaps elsewhere. (edit: whoops, meant to quote reloaderguy)
  3. I'm hoping to be there, but I might have to work. Just in case I don't, what time do you plan to start?
  4. If anything I've found 5.56 to be more expensive than .223. Try http://cheaperthandirt.com
  5. never been there myself, but ... http://www.scfgpa.org/
  6. I'd be interested and I'm a CR member. I can bring my Beretta 9mm, H&K .45, Sig .22 and my AR. Only problem is March is a very busy month for us here (we're moving) and I might be working on the weekend. Let me know the date when you know it and I'll see if I can make it. Ammo's not a problem.
  7. Soup - been a bit under the weather
  8. Love the 12 or so mags on the table in the bottom video. And yeah great reviews, even though he's admittedly Glock-biased.
  9. Sounds like it's all been said here, but I'll throw my 2 cents in. My first pistol was a Beretta 92fs and I still own it and love it. Some will say it's for people with large hands, and I don't think mine are very large, but it feel perfect in my hands. Agreed that you should take it for a test drive and see how you like it. If you're ever up in my neck of the woods I'd gladly let you put some rounds through her
  10. Sounds like a real jerk - I'll never buy from him! LOL, not that I have the 3k to drop on a gun anyway.
  11. Hm... you could change the text with 'Everything the light touches is the US' and the shadowy place is 'NJ'
  12. I think it's interesting when the news talks about someone having 'x' amount of rounds of ammo in his house, and then I start counting how much ammo I have and it's usually about the same. I suppose it's just a matter of time until they start to ration ammo. Hey, ammo's not in the 2nd amendment!
  13. Apparently he's not a fan of trigger discipline http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/82232091/
  14. I remember looking at 10mm guns before I got the .45 and didn't find a whole lot, outside the Glock. This Colt Delta Elite is nice looking though, 1911 style if you're into that.
  15. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you only use 3? The permits are only good for 90 days, and with OGAM, you won't have the opportunity to use the fourth, unless you get an extension. I was thinking of doing the same when I got my permits and stopped at 3. On the other hand, I suppose at $2 it's not a very big investment, and could solve a problem if you screw one up or have a deal fall through or something. I think my last permits (Pompton Lakes) took only 3 weeks; they're pretty good about the process here.
