Dude..seek help...i get we are all stressed but really this derangement is bordering on psychosis...  i feel bad for you....

Yes you should seek help.  Takes enjoyment in watching others belittle someone for doing nothing.

Has no idea what personal responsibility is.  Thinks it is someone else responsibility to take care of him.

Grow up then seek professional help.

We all reap what we sow - when a MAN complaining that he has to give up his snack due to a CHILD having a possible severe anaphylaxis (spelling) reaction to it - is publicly ridiculed for NOT behaving like a man or normally - I take pride in my fellow humans for calling out dumbasses.

It is not so much that everyone has to change to meet needs - it is a matter of people being caring

Yep exactly shows what kind of a human you are.  You revel in the abuse of others.

Guy wants to eat his snack in peace and he is a dumbass?  On e again maybe we should ban everything that someone is allergic to.  What would have happen if someone had a bag of peanuts in the terminal before getting on the plane?  Oh nnop[e can't have that someone on the plane maybe allergic.  If you are that susceptible maybe it''s incumbent on YOU to not put yourself in the situation?  No, it's much easier to make someone else take care of it for you.

" it is a matter of people being caring" By ridicule. Hypocrite much?

Well, I WAS wearing masks last week. I wasn't wearing a mask a month ago, but a month ago, we weren't at or near peak infection, but were reducing people going out and people were keeping their distance and WE WEREN'T NEAR PEAK INFECTION.

Which means we had to contact a lot more people to statistically run into an infected person. The math on that is a LOT more unfriendly now.

As the rate of infections drop, then the odds of encountering infected people drops, and we go back to not having to take as many precautions.

I do not know what's wrong with you. If you wanted to rail about freedoms and the man, it'd make a lot more sense about using police powers to curtail freedom of assembly than people being prepared to say you are trespassing for not wearing a mask.  Or even the stupid rule about no more than two people in cars. Yeah, the local teenagers are driving around in parked cars. But they aren't my teenagers and if you raised stupid ones.. well it might kill you now. But they aren't putting the general population at risk. But for a family of four who are locked in together anyway. Making me interact with a higher risk individual because the rules were written by morons seems counterproductive.

But no.. you want to die on the hill of fuck you I'm not wearing no mask. Despite the benefit to you if you are disease free of reducing your chance of infection form those who are not.

You seem so sure about that peak infection thing?  How many case are there in the US.  Not Confirmed , actual cases.  Guarantee there are millions. and have been for a long time.   I guess you missed all those people that have been getting very ill since November.

Here's one for reference.   2 months from now all of you mask wearers are gonna come out into a world with millions of carriers.  So we get to do this ALL OVER AGAIN.

I guess the mask you weren't wearing then saved you?

    As to why I'm irritated.

Maybe go back and read previous post about curtailing of liberties.    And then maybe explain to me how it is my responsibility  to make sure YOU don't get sick.  Maybe you be an adult and take care of yourself and your family and I'll do the same.  I don't need someone to tell me how to live.

And since it can be asymptomatic AND transmitted, I'm sure you are regularly testing daily to make sure what you say is true, right?

Also do whatever you like that just endangers yourself. Also stop putting words in other people's mouths.

You said you don't understand how it protects us. I explained.

The fact you are foaming at the mouth and dumb as a bag of rocks is beside the point.

Yep another lemming.  How is that mask you didn't wear last week, that you are wearing this week, making you safer?  I guess its the same as someone breathing the same air you do.

So you plan on living in a bubble for the rest of your life?  Hey you never know when it will be back.

    Good luck with that.

Oh and lets not forget that the masks are more or less ineffective.  But hey do whatever you are told.

Ha !....  says the guy from the high tower....

We manage, well she manages it now to lead as normal a.life as possible, she takes responsibility for her condition.

Thankfully your the minority, the world realizes that food allergies are some of the worst amd detrimental to people.  GOOD people.realize that and work hard to help and accommodate those that are challenged by it.

'Archie', your type is a thing of the past....you are just as bad as the very far left

Yes i took great pleasure seeing the women emasculate him verbally for being a selfish prick....

One must take personal responsibility for the hand they have been dealt... but we that have a good hand do not need to be jerks to those that haven't....  what says a lot about you is your lack of compassion and empathy for your fellow man.

I would bid you peace, but you wouldn't know what to do with it....

Oh and one more thing, you may have missed it in your driveling posts...  but what is she doing?

She and her husband are helping to shop for some older folks in their bldg that are afraid to go out because they have other conditions.

SHE and her husband are stellar human beings and i applaud them, you not so much.

"Compassion and empathy for your fellow man" , says the guy that laughs when he is told about a person behaving normal is ridiculed by others.  Hypocrite much.  If your "management plan" requires something from others besides normal decency  (Breathing and eating are normal human functions), then your management plan sucks and needs to be revised.

Aren't they special that everyone else has to change to meet their needs.  Talk about narcissistic.

Guess what,  there is almost nothing in the world that someone does not have an allergy to.  Should everyone give up everything, as to make sure that the allergic person won't have a reaction?  Or is it just for your case?

My oldest daughter has nut allergies, pound sand dolt.

Your like the tool on a plane on a flight i was on once...lil boy had a severe nut allergy, some  dummy business man complained he had to give up his nuts....while the rest of the flight willingly gave em up.....  it was glorious watching him get abused verbally by the rest of the passengers due to his abject narcissism

Go look in the mirror and be ashamed....

Wow, another race to the bottom Genius.  I'm sorry your daughter has allergies, but believe it or not, it's yours and your daughters issue to deal with.  It is not everyone responsibility to make sure she doesn't every get near something that might cause her issues.

"it was glorious watching him get abused verbally by the rest of the passengers due to his abject narcissism " .  Says a lot about you.

Go look in the mirror and grow up.

That is EMPHATICALLY not my argument.  That is your very poorly cobbled together projections and a non sequitur.

Are you sure you are healthy?  Absolutely positive, like you have an Abbott ID-NOW machine on your kitchen counter with a fridge fully stocked with reagents, assuming you know how to run an assay.  Can your smarmy selfish ass be 100% sure that you are not or will not become an asymptomatic carrier wandering around spreading this disease?

If you answer yes, we will ALL know what kind of man you are.

Yes it is exactly your argument.  Give up your rights and liberties so that I feel safer.  That is your argument.   That is exactly the turn in your guns argument.

So you being the dumbass lemming you are, plan on wearing a mask for the rest of your life, because you never know someone in the next aisle may have something.  Good luck with that.

Please tell me how the mask you were not wearing a week ago is all of a sudden gonna keep you safe this week.

Can you learn how to be an adult and take responsibility for yourself?   Or do you need someone to tell you how to function in every aspect of your life?   Yo have the mentality of a child.

    Jeez.

You wearing a mask makes you safer. If you don't get sick, you can't get anyone else sick.  This makes me safer.

It is both self interest and mutual benefit.

Oh, so you know better than me how I should live my life thanks, but ill make my own decisions on my safety.

No one should ride motor cycles they are dangerous, therefore they should not be allowed.

No one should have a car that goes more than 65 mph.  ETC ETC ETC.

And once again I'm pretty sure you  can't pass a disease that you don't have so it makes you none safer.

Ah, okay.  I finally get where you are coming from.  You would have the peanut allergy kid isolated just so you can enjoy the tremendous god given, constitutionally protected right to eat a fucking sandwich.

Yes.  You  are finally catching on.  It is incumbent on the person with the problem to deal with it.  It is not everyone ELSES responsibility to make concessions.

But I guess you are all about racing to the bottom.   Pretend you are an adult and try some personal fucking responsibility.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say this.  Any American who refuses to take a very minimally invasive proactive measure to help save other Americans is an asshole.  Fucking crybabies.  Wearing a mask and sanitizing your hands WILL save lives, possibly even YOUR OWN.  Every life saved is a win for the team, Team USA. Be a team player.

Did you wear a mask shopping last year during flu season when 50k people died?  Did you wear a mask shopping in December thru 4/7 of this year?

No you didn't.  Did you die from flu last year?  Did you get Corona since December not wearing a mask?  (yeah it's been here that long)  But now wearing a mask makes everyone safer?   Are you going to wear a mask everytime you venture out for the rest of your life?

This is all kabuki theater.  If you are an at risk and want to take extra precautions for your own health?  Knock yourself out.  Yes that makes sense.  You act like an adult and make decisions for your OWN well being.   This is just like the "sorry can't have a PB&J sandwich at school, because little Johnny has a peanut allergy.  So instead of the at risk person taking precautions everyone else is denied.

Want to explain how a healthy me wearing a mask makes you safer?

"Why don't you turn in your guns.  It will save lives.    Hey a background check / permit is only minimally invasive.   Come on be a team player."  This is your argument.

Fun fact my moronic friend, did you know that martial law is legal in the US? Article 1, Section 9 states, "The privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it."

Oh I missed it then.  When was Martial Law declared?  Please do link to an official declaration.

    Again MORON.

I don't know what a Greenday is but again I ask you, where did you graduate law school?

I see so only lawyers are able to understand law?  So the people that wrote the Constitution (in your opinion) would be unable to understand what they meant because they weren't lawyers.

    I reiterate, MORON.

If the congress or even the state legislature moved to make any of these restrictions permanent, then you have to start worrying. Right now the powers that are being used are within the states powers defined by the constitution by in large, and the ones that aren't, as I have repeatedly said, are being challenged in the higher courts. Plus I cannot in at least recent history remember a time where emergency declarations and police powers have been used to such an extent. Obviously we look to the guidance of court rulings to determine where the boundaries are. There are already a lot of cases that set precedent on what can and cannot be done. For instance the court has over ruled the governor of Kansas who was restricting religious gatherings and no doubt that case will be cited elsewhere.

I'm ignoring this stupid post. lol Where did  you graduate law school?

You think a constitutional violation is only a violation if its permanent?  Where did you graduate grade school?

Okay Greenday.  Ignore it, since you can't refute any of it.  What a moron.

That there is inherent risk that the bounds of authority will be overstepped? Sure, I can agree with that, but that's the reason why we have a system in place to challenge that authority.

    1. The entire post is a mis-interpretation, or more accurately put, your own interpretation of what you THINK it should be.

    2. The saving grace here is the fact that no one with any sort of authority gives a shit about what people like you or Indiana here think regarding the constitution or the law.

    1.  What exactly did I say that was a "Misinterpretation"?

    2. Yeah thanks for proving the point.  Those "in authority"  don't give a shit.  Look up the cause of the American revolution.  A certain group in authority not giving a shit.

Not really. It's more of a reasoned balanced decision.  People will die one way or the other.   It happens. That's life no one gets out alive.  ~5.5k people die EVERY day in the US.

Do you cower and hide (shutdown) or Face adversity and move on.

Where in the world would you get the idea that shutting down hasn't helped? Even Trump himself has highlighted the fact that we were able to flatten the curve with the stay at home orders. Projects showed infection numbers in the millions upon millions by mid April had we not done what we did. What constitutional rights are we losing by being asked to stay inside and wear a mask when  you go out?

How long has NY been shut down?  Hows that death count and # of confirmed cases coming?  Hows that mass graves  coming?

I put up a widget to keep white elephants away from my house.  It works great, since I put it up no white elephants.  Proves that my widget works right?

Those projections are full of shit.  Every single one of them has been "corrected"  1

Flattening the curve?  What a stupid fucking term.  How many people have died OF Corona because there wasn't medical equipment?

You do realize that "flattening the curve" does not reduce the number of infections?  It only extends the time frame making it more likely that people that hunkered down for months will catch it later.

You are not "being asked" anything,  You are being told.

As to Constitutional violations. Oh lets see:

The governor SD gets it but it seems you don't.  She says, "SD is not NY" and mentions that it is sparsely populated.  Very different demographics.

Not shutting down hasn't helped SD.  Corona cases went up 218% last week. A month ago they had 9 cases and now they have 730.

Shutting down hasn't helped either.  So what is the choice stay open and keep the economy going and people die or shut everything down, violate the constitution, destroy the economy and people die anyway?

Not so much of a difficult choice.,

PS: Sure about those numbers?   A month ago no one was being tested for Corona, now everyone with the sniffles is being tested.  What a surprise the more you test the more you find.  When any where from 50%-86% of "victims" show ZERO symptoms, how do you know how many case there are?
