  1. My ex was lost in the same boating accident as the rest of my guns. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Have a cold steel spartan on the way now iw. Will see if it's too big to EDC. Currently it's an inexpensive Kershaw. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk 2
  3. If you are involved in what police consider a good shoot (you're not arrested or are acquitted) the victim or their families are not allowed to sue you civilly in Florida. You can not be sued period. You also do not need to be licensed to keep a loaded gun in your glove box. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I moved fron NJ to Florida recently. I carry every day. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Weak side pocket for sure. Why you would want to change hands for the weapon to retrieve mag is beyond me. Most of us can't reach with off hand to retrieve strong side either. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk 2
  6. As Brockglock mentioned, get a Kahr CW9 or PM9. My daily carry (usually) is a PM9 iwb but also easily carries in front pocket of cargo short with a desantis superfly holster which i occasionally do if im wearing a tight t-shirt) It's a Tru pocket 9mm faar better then the ruger or keltec. No issue at range handling wise with gold dot 124 +p Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk 2
  7. He's full of shit. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk 2
  8. I've never shot a lever action but since i have a 22 upper with my AR and i imagine follow up shots are far better than with a lever action, i going AR all day. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk 2
  9. LGS down here has a full auto with suppressor. Total badass.
  10. Worst comes to worst put it in your trunk jersey style.
  11. Same in FL without ccw. That's what I did before I had my ccw when I 1st moved down. Doesn't need to be locked either. Just holster n glovebox
  12. There is no license (only freshwater and its more of a tax). You need the boating safet cert. take a class. They give test at the end. It's easy. This is not a license. There is no license to operate a boat in NJ, just the safety cert.
  13. I do not carry in home but just about everywhere outside of it including when going to the gym. My carry guns are always easily accessible in my condo (gated community) several others in easy reach and a sub 2000, 40 condition 3 with 22 round mag very easily accessible. I do live alone, so no worries about children. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
  14. Examples? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
  15. You should really be having a convo with a NJ guy who moved to Florida. Just sayin I carry EVERYWHERE except a few very limited places. Gun in my center console always and no one gives a shit how many rounds my mag holds Oh yeah, 200 bucks to be able to get suppressors, sbrs ornown full auto and gun registration is illegal Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Florida same and it will be 85f today
  17. Love my xdm 3.8 compact in 40. Did you only get the short mags with it?
  18. Look at a kahr cm/pm9. I carry a pm9 daily unless I carry my xdm. Mostly the kahr as its hot here.
  19. Sometimes I need to pocket carry down here in cargo shorts and shield def won't work. I prefer my xdm compact .40 when I can. Do you carry every day?
  20. I disagree. Sooo many good holsters out there for IWB that are better deal then crossbreed. I carry an xdm compact in a panther concealment holster and alien holsters makes a premium hybrid cross breed holster for less then half the price. I carry a pm9 in a galco soft tuck or tagua leather single clip. Nice living in a carry state and learning what's really out there.
  21. I try and carry my xdm 3.8 compact .40 in a panther concealment holster whenever I can. 11+1 of .40 with a 16 round spare should be enough. Due to the weather here, I often carry my pm9 6+1 with 7 round spare. I love the xdm.
  22. I moved to Fl 2 months ago. I still have my docs but only keep for posterity. . My cwfl permit resides where my fpid use to in my wallet
