  1. Yes, a few of them have the star before the serial number. Even if I get $2.01 for some of them, I will be happy. I was short changed on the notary job...he claimed he had no more money even after the attorney and I agreed on a fee.
  2. I did a notary job and was paid in a whole bunch of red seal $2 bills. Some have a star in front of the serial numbers. All different conditions. I did some research and see that they can be worth $2-$60 each. Anybody here know old currency and that could possibly make a fair offer? -Thanks!
  3. Bomber that was in Fairfield a little while back...
  4. Thanks for all the advice. I will definitely be checking with Dr. Chang.
  5. Stephen King's best performance!
  6. My brother is super left. Even lives in Berkely, CA. He isn't anti gun but my father is. He really has no political stance but lives in San Francisco. Don't understand why as he has a classic 22lr Winchester somewhere in storage. Makes no sense.
  7. Just a caution, I may get graphic with the description. Well, after having a mast cell tumor removed from the side of my 8 year old Pug, Schmutz, he now has three more in its place along with about 9 smaller bumps under his skin. All within a year. He is still lively, loves food and treats, runs into the woods, barks at birds, etc. Vet says It's a very good chance it is systemic mast cell disease and his quality of life may soon deteriorate. Its going to be very hard when this time comes as Schmutz has been one of the most loving, loyal, intelligent, charasmatic dogs I have ever met. He has two types of lumps...one larger mass that floats under the skin and harder little lumps almost on top of the skin. The harder ones resemble large pimples. A few burst, scabbed up and pretty much dissapeared and others just stay there. Vet aspirated both types this evening and will soon have the results...probably Friday. I'm not a fan of the whole medical industry as they see people as revenue and we are worth more sick than healthy. I have a strong belief that the majority of medications merely manage your illness, never cure it. Maybe I watch too many documentaries on Netflix...lol. The vetinary industry is no better. It is a gold mine as there is little to no involvement from insurance companies and people pay cash for visits, procedures and prescriptions. I rarely encounter individuals that display sincere concern for a pets health. They make you wait 45 minutes in the exam room and before you get 5 feet after the appointment, the bill is already waiting for you at the counter. Before considering chemotherapy, we are looking into natural holistic alternatives as there is no indication yet that the cancer is anywhere else such as the spleen or bone. I've done quite a bit of research and see diet changes, plant extracts, stuff like that. Even a certain extract from a "controversial" plant that supposedly works wonders. Any advice or first hand experience from anyone who went through this would be appreciated. Even a referral to a holistic vet would be great. Thanks.
  8. Was told " We need to perform our due diligence in this matter. Thank you for being so understanding. When can we expect you in?"
  9. Yes. You have to go through the entire process over including prints and $60. Same thing except they say it goes much quicker. You're the same person, same social, name, date, birthday, criminal record or lack thereof...you just park your car and sleep somewhere else but you still have to complete the process over. 10. Looks like trial starts next month. Also some new character evidence. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/23/trayvon-martin-evidence-photos-texts_n_3327658.html
  11. Thanks for the info. I will contact s&w and see about installing a rail. If I go ahead with it, I will post some pics. Thanks.
  12. So here it is. Very nice design. Fits well in the hand. Heavier than I expected. I did some looking around at a lunchroom at work. Works surprisingly well! The camera on my phone was having trouble focusing in the viewfinder. Also, the rubber eye piece made it tough for my iPhone to really get in there. The actual image is much larger and less of the tunnel vision that was captured. I'm going to play with it more and post some outdoor pics. The IR really helps and is barely visible when in use.
  13. I was wondering if it is possible to have a rail cut into the frame so it can accept accessories.. I'm looking to get this done on my S&W 3913 (not lady smith, regular one). Thanks.
  14. There is a pic online somewhere of a Garand that blew up with some hot loads. I think it was the guy's first shot. Here is another. I loaded 30-06, chickened out and decided to only shoot surplus. http://www.jouster.com/forums/showthread.php?1504-D-Day-Commemorative-M-1-blows-up-with-HXP
  15. I will have to check it out! Are they similar in what they provide? We are also looking for meat and eggs.
  16. That's one side of it, the far side is estate and garage sale, antiques, etc. I occasionally find reloading supplies or ammo. I pick up straight edge razors, antique cameras, old Star Wars toys, records, tools, projectors, 8mm films...all kinds of crap.
  17. I had purchased a Garand from Tony about 4 years ago. Still no issues after 400 rounds or so. I have heard things like this come up but not too often. I also know he is good for correcting any issues on his garands.
  18. My Leo friend says this: If I pull you over from coming out of a drive through because your signal was out and discover your cargo and everything is legit, no prob...next time don't make stops, it's for your own safety. If I pull you over for coming out of a drive through because your signal was out and I find 30 round magazines and something else illegal, you will get arrested for all the offenses including the improper transport. Huh, go figure.
  19. Yes, there is a farm by me. We buy all their seasonal fruits and veggies and their honey. Alstede Farms. Awesome ownership and great staff. Homemade ice cream and packaged goods. We are still waiting for an organic beef farm to sell to the public. Not legal here in NJ. The owner is always there and is listening to all suggestions. I asked that he try to make ice cream out of lactaid so I can have some. He actually took note and said he would give it a go. Unfortunately. He said it didn't work out.
  20. Unfortunately, yes. Splitting hairs, It's considered a deviation from A to B. This question was brought up during a q&a with the state police about 4 years ago.
  21. That's really cool. You should check out the meadowlands flea market in Saturday mornings. I see quite a few old pocket watches and clocks. Not to mention hundreds of used police glock holsters.
  22. I read that you can eat them raw right when they come out while they are still pale.
  23. Opinions are like a5sholes. Everyone has them and some stink worse than others.
  24. Grabbed one at the flea market. Other was an EBay purchase. There are mini tools that are band powered that run off these. Like mini band saws, drills, lights. I think the larger Jensen is from the 60's. The brass Mamod could be from late 40's or early mid 50's.
