She was a senior and I was a sophomore in high school ... oh... wrong first! First rifle was a Savage-Anschutz 64-SL in .22LR Left hand stock, right hand action, medium weight barrel Perfect for a 16 year old paper puncher in training! Shot it on the Varsity Rifle Team at Lehigh University (when Lehigh had a rifle team, before it became politically incorrect) Sold it in 1979 to a fellow shooter at Master Shooters in Indian Mills, NJ and used the proceeds to buy my Series 70 Colt Gold Cup for $332 (and why didn't I buy more of them???) First handgun was a S&W 17, 6" bbl, blue bought the summer I was 21. Still have it. Had Hank Stratton smooth the action when he still had the shop on the White Horse Pike in Haddon Heights (that was during the last ice age, wasn't it?)

The State didn't want you to have that firearm, anyway -
I just called Asm Wilson's office (as he is my rep in Trenton) and explained to the young lady that both of these bills were not as they purported to be, and would create unintended consequences by granting tyrannical powers to unelected officials (specifically the AG) I also called Asm Albano's office (again - I've spoken with him in the past) and told the young man that answered that I know Asm Albano is not the typical anti-gun democrat, and I sincerely hoped he would do everything possible to keep these 2 bills from getting out of committee on Monday. CALL YOUR ASSEMBLY PERSONS!!!!!! There's strength in numbers

Take it from a brass whore - These sorting trays work great! Just don't overload them They work best when they're no nested inside each other (nesting is for storage) If you shoot 9mm and .380, you should get the additional aluminum separator plate Midway has them on sale this month

Only a handful of our elected officials give a crap about our Constitutional rights. The rest are just interested in "the art of the compromise" aka "you scratch my balls and i'll scratch yours" -

Applied for my pistol permits

I attach a copy of the 6 page Atty General letter to my PPP applications, with the appropriate section highlighted. Haven't had a problem getting multiples -
Except mags and ammo don't have expiration dates. If you have a SHTF stash of canned goods, you better be using it up and restocking with more current dated goods as you go. It also acclimates the family to SHTF selection of food so when Mickey D is just a playland for the tree rats, the kids will get why no more happy meals!
-
Get on the stick, man! That's what Midway $10 off $50 coupons are for! Exp 2359CST Jan31 Promo code TacRep110
-
Which is why I have a hard time rotating through my canned good SHTF supply by the expiration dates. I'm only 1 person! Minute rice made with the broth of the canned soup and topped with the soup solids makes for a nutritious meal that's really easy to store, then prepare.
-
When the SHTF, you'll wish you had more, no matter how many you have. I have a boatload of XD45 mags to go with all the weapons. And a minimum of 5 each for everything else And more for the AR's (the evil 30 round PMags live at my brother's place in PA)

Just did a search Nearest (to me) Awful House (what we affectionately called it) is on Rt 40 in NorthEast MD (this side of the windy bridge) There's also an app for smartphones to locate Waffle House locations Downloaded the app and found a closer one in Elkton MD Next time I run over to Millers for powder or primers, I think I'll pay WH a visit! yummmm

Amen to that!

S&W is taking my gun back
njJoniGuy replied to QuePsiPhiSmkr's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Make sure you keep all your paperwork regarding giving the gun back to the manufacturer. Staple it to the pink copy of the PPP you used to buy it, and file it away. Hopefully, the gestapo will never come around asking for you to account for all the weapons on their list.
