  1. Mikey is correct. The local PD just forward the work off to the state police.
  2. No, Airsoft and Paintball are NOT Considered firearms in NJ, and are, thus far, unregulated. I wouldn't say unregulated. I haven't found a single paintball field in NJ you can buy or use a full auto paintball gun. The last guy I talked to said they are illegal in NJ.
  3. My town specifically told me NOT to include references for my latest batch of permits. Got them in in 2-3 weeks.
  4. I'm patiently waiting for an order I placed at Brick Armory... Or impatiently as the case may be. I can't really complain though since I only placed the order on Friday. If it isn't in next week though I'm going to be annoyed since they said it would be in this week and when I called they said "try next week". You'd think if they placed the order already they'd know when or if something was supposed to arrive. Distributors usually give delivery dates. If it isn't in next week I'll have to cancel and buy somewhere else. Shore Shot had them in stock for the price I paid at Brick Armory, I just like the guys at Brick Armory better. This is kind of a test to see if it's worth buying anything else from them or whether I renew my membership in Feb or go to Shore Shot. The price was about $50 more than I'd have paid if I bought the same thing from Gun Broker.
  5. I liked that so much I pasted into a thread over on a car forum where some dingus stated all guns should be banned.
  6. I just got 2 pistol permits from Tinton Falls yesterday, it took under 3 weeks so I was impressed! They didn't bother asking me for references or release forms or any of that crap. I just filled out the one sheet'r for the actual permit, gave them $4, and got the licenses in record time. The lady who works the desk at the Tinton Falls station is VERY nice and she seems to know everything involved. She didn't guess, she didn't have to ask someone, she knew exactly what needed to be done and took care of it. Also the cops there (most anyway, one was a grump) were nice. Asked what I was going to buy, gave some recommendations on their favorites etc.
  7. Magazines are not firearms. That's like complaining about having a box of ammo in the trunk with the gun.
  8. I stopped by to pickup another PP two weeks ago at my PD. They told not to bother with the reference's and didn't want a mental check waiver.
