  1. My carry rotation. G43x with parker mountain comp brings the overall length to assentially a 48, lol As for the original question; Pros: Light weight, maximum NJ capacity (10). The slim models are very easy to conceal without having to worry about printing. If your end goal is to carry, it is very comfortable as far as form and weight. The longer grip just feels better in handling and controlling the gun. The ones where I have to hang my pinky over the grip I tend to have to readjust my grip during fire. Cons: Slight kick due to the overall size of the gun, but it really isn't bad (especially with a comp =P). This next part is a con for me personally, but the grip, even with the grip texture was still more slippery than I'd prefer but grip tape helps with that!
  2. I never liked the pricing structure of having to pay every visit even as a member. From a consumer's preference I'd rather have a pay once and done type of membership. Admittedly I'll still go to GFH because it is so close.

  7. According to heritage.org, A “well-regulated” militia simply meant that the processes for activating, training, and deploying the militia in official service should be efficient and orderly, and that the militia itself should be capable of competently executing battlefield operations. This is what is considered what was meant at the time of the founding. So its not unlikely that the conservative justices, which rely on the original meaning or the constitution, could possible agree with the training aspect. Now I don't have a crystal ball, but thats how it can be argued.
  8. Not to be a dick, but concern for our 2A rights is constant, but that doesn't mean everything else takes a backseat. The concern for training will ensure we can carry in the immediate future and defend ourselves in the present. In addition, what can be done is currently working its way through the courts and there is nothing else we can do aside from bringing more lawsuits. Let's be laser focused with one issue at a time as most litigators would likely agree.
  9. What if like to know is, will my PD accept an hqc1 signed off by an NRA instructor... For reasons
  10. My guess is, if you qualed with HQC1 initially and still have a copy of that qual, you can always try showing that to your PD and see if theyll just give you the thumbs up. With the authority being more localized, it appears the local PD may have more leeway in how they handle it. For example, some PD's require you to reapply if you have a court order and want a non-restricted permit, other PD's will just reissue you a permit without having to go through the red tape all over again. If you have proof of HQC1, it doesnt hurt to try.
  11. I hope I am wrong, but I do not see the training requirement being struck down. We can argue there was no such requirement back during the founding, but I believe if a state decides to make training a requirement, it wont be overturned.
  12. I have a barely used PWS Mk114 on an Aero lower build. At most 50 rounds through it, only seen the range once. Comes with pinned/welded FSC brake and radian ambi charging handle. Chambered in 223 Wylde. Its a great AR but it just collects dust. Comes with Holosun 407R, magpul angled grip $950 Also have a KSG with a bushnell TRS-25 and magpul vertical grip barely used, also collecting dust. $550
  13. keeping on topic, they are actually trying to argue that easing up on permits there is a correlation of cops shooting civilians. I don't think its going to help their case like they think it will.
  14. I read, for the record, cops need better training to not shoot innocent civilians
  15. NJ: Our law is rooted in history and tradition. We wouldn't have passed this law without it. Judge: Show me NJ: Fuck...
  16. Its unfortunate that peoples ignorance in their phrasing can elevate a situation beyond what it needs to be. When I worked at a range we were instructed if there was ever an accident involving a firearm, we were specifically to call it a "training accident" when speaking to dispatch. Saying someone was shot was a surefire way to have swat roll in hard.
