  1. Okay, just talked to the guy in charge at the Bayonne Range. We could do a Wednesday night and have the whole range to ourselves! It would be one fee for the whole group, but I need enough guys to say yes and be committed. It'll be cheaper if more go, so If it's only 3 guys paying it's not gonna be worth it.

In for any Wednesday night ( i work in JC ). I can take my Henry 22 Lever action without a problem from what i read on the website

  2. Is there a AK photo thread? I never like AK style rifles, but all of the sudden, I LOVE THEM. I just lost all interest in the AR style rifles. Just want to see what you guys have and maybe get ideas for accessories. ie triangle metal stock

You`ve crossed over to the Dark Side Comrade , You`ve been sucked into The Matrix

Plenty of Pics Here on various websites :

Interesting Models and pics here : http://www.centerfiresystems.com/ and http://classicarms.us/

  3. Happens,

I ve been delayed in buying in PA for 2 hours once , one other time for 30min.........

Call DSG icon_e_biggrin.gif................Never heard of anyone refer to them as that icon_e_biggrin.gif.......its almost cooler than the sign Dick`s ...............maybe they should streamline their name like Kentucky Friend Chicken did....to KFC.

  4. Saturdays not so busy . Sundays a little crowded , max 30min wait to get a lane but this is rare.

There`s about 14 lanes for rifle and i think about 6 for pistol. Shotgun range is never crowded. They provide the target stands and sell targets as well. Also you can shoot clays on the rifle range by putting them on to the berm.

Rest of the week it`s empty (they are closed monday`s and tuesday`s)

  5. Going there tomorrow, I shoot there all the time.

You pay a first time fee of 7$ and you get a signed off badge after they see you shoot...........and then it`s 15$ for a day.......you can shoot for a few hours and come back in the afternoon............as long as you want all day long.

Nice people , very friendly , and very safety oriented.

  6. Hi and Welcome from Readington Township ,

Just put in for a few pistol permits and hope they`ll do em in under a month.

NJSP Peryville turnaround time that i know from other forums ranges from 30days to 4 months , lets hope it`ll be 30days for you.

  7. I was thinking of the Ruger MK3 as a 22lr ,

Budget is around under 1K all in.

For the other one a compact revolver steel.

I would shoot them very often since i go to the range every other week with rifles. I would not use them as a HD weapons since i have a shotgun for that.

  8. Hello Everyone,

Got 2 pistol permits on the way but i`ve never shot anything but a 9mm a few times.

I`m thinking one should be a .22lr to learn to shoot , but what about the other one ?

Any suggestions on what to get ?

  9. They way I read this is that only if you do not have a compartment separate (e g trunk) then you must lock it , otherwise you don`t need to lock it. Am i wrong ?

Did the BH class say Locked no matter what ?

All firearms transported into the State of New Jersey:

    • Shall be carried unloaded and contained in a closed and fastened case, gunbox, securely tied package, or locked in the trunk of the automobile in which it is being transported, and in the course of travel, shall include only such deviations as are reasonably necessary under the circumstances.
    • The firearm should not be directly accessible from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. If the vehicle does not have a compartment separate from the passenger compartment, the firearm and ammunition must be in a locked container other than the vehicle's glove compartment or console.

  10. I say.............FOCUS ....FOCUS..........FOCUS..............

Get rid of all of the extra stuff ..............Keep one of each if you really want to .............and concentrate on the Garand Variants...........use the Visa Cash Card for just ammo and/or accessories but finance your next trip from the milsurp extras.

At least you ll have to buy 1 type of ammo...............................
