  1. the federal government possesses only those powers delegated to it by the United States Constitution. All remaining powers are reserved for the states or the people. Bye, bye Loretta!
  2. From an admittedly selfish perspective, that is exactly what I am worried about. I fully understand the NJ perspective of take what you can get, however. As I said: mixed emotions.
  3. As an ex-New Jersey resident who relocated to the free state of North Carolina, I have mixed emotions about the bill. At the outset it looks like a major win for 2A throughout the fifty states. My permit would be valid when I visit family and friends back in the Garden State. Of course, I'd be limited to small capacity magazines and no hollow-points, but at least I would be armed. That's all goodness. What has me conflicted is concern that the Feds have stepped into the arena. When the Dems take over, and it will happen, they could pass an amendment that will require registration, prior notice, fed-defined annual training, fees, federal permits, etc, etc, etc. It could well be a short term gain for a long term loss. I don't trust them as far as I can throw them, so I have to vote 'no', with regrets. Actually, we don't need a new law at all. We already have this thing called the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United State of America.
  4. A Walking Dead post from 2013! I left NJ for the free United States 2 years ago....
  5. Remember also there is a Distinguished Life Membership available to disabled Veterans and seniors (65+). It's a one time $300 charge.
  6. Dang - tried to get in on the free one time view online through AMC. Their server must be running on a 386 at 300 baud.o way to get in
  7. Oh man, there were Chinese dumplings and I missed them? Bummah!
  8. PING! Help - does Amazon show it at the same time as igt is aired on AMC?
  9. How does that work? We have DISH, so no more AMC stuff. My TV has an Amazon "widget" so I assume I can watch it there. Is it in realtime or not show up on Amazon until sometime after the live show?
  10. I'm really sorry I had to leave so early but...... It was great to put some faces with the online images. It was wonderful for you to do this, RecessedFilter. I look forward to seeing you all again. The bad news is I now understand why skeet is so addictive, why a home defense shotty doesn't hack it and why I really need a new Benelli Yet another way to spend money and piss off the wife - great! Jack
  11. I have some .410 000 Buck, but that's it. Also have some 20GA I can bring along
  12. Good catch, Bob. I hadn't considered exit 13 isn't there from the west!
  13. Well done! Let me see if I can find a similar way to help our local troops.
  14. OK - I will bring that and I also picked up a case of birds today that will come along for the ride. Hey guys - there is no coffee or anything there so PLAN AHEAD! There is a Dunkin Donuts in the Exxon station at exit 13 and also a BagelSmith at exit 13 on the south side of 78. As RF said - plan on being chilly in the morning - especially if the breeze is blowing.
  15. Is 6 1/2 or 7 considered bird shot? I have lots, both 12 and 20 ga.
