  1. Well, to spend a few dollars...LaRue Tactical OBR, Noveske, Les Baer, then LMT,DD, then RRA, then the rest. Just one person's opinion

    GSG 5 fans?

I hava had the original for several years. The screw upgrade is a must, and you need loctite (blue) for the screws. I run a 4x illuminated scopr from RRages and a green laser with pressure switch. Mine likes CCI mini-mags. What was difference with the stock? I am interested.
  3. There's some at Cabela's and if you need it soon, L and H in Wall has one
  4. Bill did my Ar, a beretta, a 1911, my GSG5 so I do enjoy his work. If you want a good 3lb trigger for $49- go with Bill. If you want an excellent 2+lb trigger, then go with the Geissele.
  5. If you can afford the Lasik, I highly recommend it. The technology has improved over the years and your vision can be returned. I invested in it before this years Leopard hunt and it paid for itself, no more glasses trying to see 3-400 yds away. I even picked up a critter or two the trackers missed ( they are still way better). If you plan on buying a variable scope in the near future, bet one with a parallax or focus knob- that can also help. Best of luck

  7. We always give the gift of the second amendment at Christmas. This year is another pellet gun. Lasst year the wife got a Franchi 28ga.
  8. and you should see the black Friday deals at Cabela's. If you are a PA resident, there are some good finds on .22's and .17's as well as muzzleloaders.
  9. I use 3031 and 748 but prefer the 748 as it meters nicely. Mostly 50 gr. V Max loads.
  10. What others said is accurate. It is fun to shoot, but it needs mods to run right. You need the screw upgrade from RRages.com and they must be loctited as well as the bolt stop. You need a #9 torx screwdriver to remove the factory bolt carrier screws ( get one from Radio Shack, buy it and then return it- they cost like 19 bucks). It is fun to shoot and you will blow through many rounds rather cheaply. Lots of fun and you can spend more on modifications than the gun. Look at the GSG thread on AR15.com, under Armory then GSG5- enjoy
  11. you'll love it, it is inherently accurate. I dropped off my permit app last night for a new 1911 and it was done by 8am,so I'm off to spend some cash
  12. Let's see... Trading in my beretta 90-two for a Kimber Custom II with a .22 cal conversion kit. Say no more
