  1. I have a very nice 12 gauge Mossberg "Police Model" I would like to trade. Send me your e-mail address and I'll send some pics. It has an 18 1/2 inch barrel and black soft case

  2. Why do you suggest buying a lot of ammo? Is it that good a deal? That hard to get. BTW, can you buy more than one rifle at a time?
  3. Anyone picked one up at one of the store/warehouse? I'm going to be in Alabama next month an planned on stopping by. However, it's impossible to get through on the pnone.
  4. I left Massachusetts and ended up in New Jersey..............Next move will be a lot further SOUTH!
  5. I like and have several .45's. Thinkng about the Remington 1911 R1. Anyone have one or shot one?

    S&W .45ACP

Thanks Bob. Your info was just what I was looking for. Now I can start searching! Ironically, I grew up outside of Springfield Mass in the fifties and had no interest in firearms. I must have passed by S&W a thousand times and knew several people who had some type of involvement in Smith. But, was more interested in cars and girls at the time. Dammit, the cars and girls are long gone, but at least I would have kept the guns.

    S&W .45ACP

Thanks Bob, I appreciate the education. What is the model 22 and what makes a Thunder Ranch model?

    S&W .45ACP

I've been thinking about a .45ACP revolver for quite a while and wondered if we had any owners on the board with S&W 22 or 325's and could tell me the difference. Also wanted to know difference of Thunder Ranch models.
  9. Sorry....looking at wrong month. It's been a tough week and it's only Tuesday!
  10. Dix range is not usually open on Thursdays. Has this changed or is this a special deal?
  11. I have both.....a Sig 226 9MM and an H&K P30L. If you told me I could save my life by giving up one of them.....I couldn't decide. They are both Great Guns!
  12. I've owned an LCR for about a year. It's a great gun. .38+P is plenty of power. When I carry (out of state), I use hollow points. Unless you are planning on serious combat, this lightweight revolver is great protection.
  13. www.perfectunion.com. seems to be the site the Mini-14 crowd hangs out on. I bought two there last year.
  14. Hey, I think a committee person can carry concealed in NJ! LOL

    OIL !!!!

TriFlow. Outstanding lube used by bicycle racers. Does not attract dirt and lasts .
  16. I'm referring to the stores on military bases. You have to be active or retired military to buy from them.
  17. A couple of months ago, I said that Military Exchanges did not sell firearms or ammo. I should have said some don't (Like New Jersey). I just picked up a brochure today offering "Early Hunting Season Specials". Benell and Remington shotguns, Ruger rifles and Ruger, Glock and Taurus handguns along with ammo. No sales tax in addition to very competitive pricing. Unfortunately we live in New Jersey!
  18. If you want to read about a real American success story. Read about Ronnie Barrett who designed and built the Barrett rifle. And he did it without any gun/shooting experience in his twenties!
  19. Frank, you haven't seen me on that discussion because I'm against the 2nd amendment. I think all guns should be registered and taxed by the govt. I also think we should close all churches, synagogues etc. and build special govt. buildings where we can all worship Pope Obama, Bishop Reid, and Sister Nancy I have to go now....they only let me out of the hospital a few hours a day!
  20. Wednesday, I took my HK 45 and a new Sig 226 out to Fort Dix. I shot about 100 rounds through each gun. To my surprise, they were almost identical in feel, recoil and accuracy. I honestly could not tell you which one I liked better. The Sig is a little heavier. Neither one of these guns will be for sale for a long time!
  21. I have Adolph Hitler's personal Colt M-16 for sale!
