  2. I store most of my guns in silicone treated socks. However, some of my newer handguns came in plastic cases with foam inserts. Do most of you leave the guns in the foam inserts or remove and store them in some other way?

I'm left handed and find it difficult to defend myself with most pistols........I should be able to get some financial support for my handicap....from the LEFT WING GOVERNMENT!

    Decision to make

Actually, I bought an LCP, the lightweight Ruger .380 for my wife. She didn't like the semi-auto because you had pull the slide back. She immediately liked the LCR revolver, and the fact it is a .38 was a plus.

    Decision to make

I have an LCR. I love it. However, my wife loves it more. It is a nice handling, reliable revolver. I have about 300 rds. through it so far (both .38 & .38+P) and it has been flawless. I've owned S&W revolvers and they are also nice guns. I suggest to handle both the Ruger and S&W and go with what feels best in your hand. They will both fire the same. Think twice about going with a .357 in a small revolver. It is brutal.
  18. Todd, I'll give you a cal tomorrow. Where are you located? Mike
  19. Any members in the TV business? I'm in the market for a 60 inch Plasma or LCD. I can find all kind of deals on the internet, but would prefer to give forum member the business.
  20. My neighbor is a big time "survivalist" and tried to get me to stockpile food, water etc. I told him it wasn't necessary...... if everything turned to sh....t, I knew where there was plenty of food and water and I was well armed! He still isn't sure if I was kidding or not.
  21. I wish I hadn't seen you nice reloading set up.....now I'm thinking about reloading again! Nice set up!
  22. I was stopped a few weeks ago. The officer asked me if I had any weapons in my pick up. I wasn't far from the Fort Dix range and I had an NRA sticker on my rear window. I said yes, I have a 9mm locked in the back. He said OK and that was it as far as the gun was concerned. I almost just put it in the front with me as I was heading home, but something said do it right and lock it up. If he didn't ask I would not have said I had it on board. I'm thinking of taking my NRA decal off. It is a signal to a cop if you are stopped for anything. BTW, if you lie, you are in trouble.
  23. You can probably count on New Jersey taking advantage of this "terrible new bullet" and making it illegal!
  24. You are still screwed if you are in South Jersey and going west or south. I average $65/month just moving around Jersey and Philly. When I was working and traveling the Northeast states, I was hitting $150-175 a month. Now when I drive from Jersey to California I feel like a free man once I leave the Northeastern area.
  25. A friend visiting from Texas made the observation that you can't leave NJ without paying . Virtually every road, bridge etc leaving the state has a toll!
