I have two new Glock 13 round mags in .40 cal that fit the G23. $50 I have two Pachmayr mags that fit the P226. One is a new match grade 10 rounder and the other is a used 15 rounder. Both are stainless. $50.

No Maks, it was American stuff about 10 years old. But, it was definitely less potent as I could feel the difference in the recoil. I'm going to buy a box of the lightest .45 I can and try it out when I get home next week. If that gives me trouble, it's a call to HK. Ironically I'm camping about 50 miles away from their Alabama facility.

I have an HK45 which I really like to shoot. However, when I used up a lot of 230 gr. ammo I had, and went to some old stuff I had which I think was 180, It fired great, but failed to eject the shell. I assume the ammo didn't have enough kick to get the job done.....Any ideas or similar experience.?

Scrap, I'm surprised the way you were treated in your phone call with Country Sports. I've purchased two guns from them. I also buy ammo from them as they always have excellent pricing and only charge 3 1/2 % tax. I deal with Darryl who I assume is the owner and he seems to be a pleasant guy. It's possible you got somebody on the phone who shouldn't be in the business. If you want to try again, ask for Darryl.

The first gun is like your first car. Even though you may own a Ferrari someday, you will never enjoy driving like you did that first set of wheels you actually owned. i have owned a ton of guns over the years, but still remember the feeling of that old .22 Ruger that was my own!
