  1. What would you recommend for a dehumidifer to place inside a safe to prevent moisture buildup? Dont believe there is a problem but dont want to find out the hardway, usually open it up at least one a month to head out to the range.
  2. MSF course at Englishtown was well worth it, 3 days, written as well as actual riding (on closed course) havent been on a bike in 20+ years but this gave me a great refresher, especially with all the distractions cagers have now a days.
  3. 92FS was my first handgun purchase a few years back, performs well, easy to maintain, very pleased with it.
  4. Have not hid the fact that I own firearms (don't necessarily broadcast either) those who are aware recoginize I take safety and responsibility seriously. When an opportunity arises I explain my reasons for ownership and often do not receive negative feedback. Do have an NRA sticker on my vehicle and to date have not seen reaction one way or another.
  5. Just shy of 30" here along coast in Monmouth County, not one plow so far in the neighborhood, gotta love it.
  6. If there are plans on having another session, I would be interested in attending, not sure how many others would be as well.

Well finally did it...that is made up my mind and bought my first revolver. After much deliberation and research, including this post, ordered a 686+, 3" barrel, picked it up this evening and all I can say is wow. Had to run a few rounds through before I left the shop, both .38 and .357, trigger was smooth and with a 3" barrel the rounds placed well on the target at various distances. Nice addition to the small, but growing collection. Thanks everyone for your input.
  9. Bought my 92FS a while back, completely satisfied, hundereds of rounds through it and never a problem, easy breakdown as well.
  10. So far looking good, can confirm as date gets closer.

Appreciate the help here, to add a bit more, both were 4" and full frame. While gripping they felt nose heavy and overall were not comfortable. This is probably due to the fact I don't have large mitts to begin with, nevertheless a bit unwieldy. Trigger pull was fine on both and recoil was not really an issue. After hearing some feedback I resumed search and looking at perhaps a Model 66 3" barrel, thanks for listening.

Well as suggested I finally made it to the range and "tested" both, while I thought one of these was what I wanted, I came away a bit disappointed, that is, now thinking of finding something a bit smaller yet still a .357/38. Any suggestions will be helpful. This will be my first wheel gun and looking for the right fit/feel.
