  1. I may have answered this in my mind but I'll ask it anyway. I'm in the process of a trade for a handgun in another state. Can I send my handgun directly to the other state's FFL? Or do I need my FFL here in Jersey to send it to the other state's FFL?. Thank you.
  2. Ballpark bun length for me. What can I say? I like their taste. We take an electric skillet, dump in good kraut with all the kraut juice, put the dogs in and heat everything up. Sometimes we add a little beer (and drink the rest, of course) and maybe a half teaspoon of caraway seeds. Keep it on low or at the food holding temperature and enjoy them all...day...long. Top off with brown mustard and steamed buns. Darn it...now I want a dog.
  3. Welcome! Toms River is the Mason Dixon Line between North and South Jersey. lol. Glad to have you.
  4. That dog had some... balls, I tell ya..
  5. I saw this guy on Youtube who has developed a muzzlebrake that uses the bayonet mount. Looks interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9USZUGQ4f60 There is also some guy in Australia that developed one but it's like $200.00. On a Mosin, I don't think I'd bolt anything on to the barrel.
  6. I think it's pretty cool! It would be interesting to shoot it through a chrono. Wonder what kind of muzzle velocity you get.
  7. Very sorry for your loss. Will say a few prayers for you and your family.
  8. What are you talking about? Sonic's food is fit for a king..."Here King...c'mon boy...good dog". lol Then again, I'm a cheap bastard and a buck a dog may be tempting.
  9. Your heart was in the right place...however, I think by saying you were a police officer while brandishing a firearm was not the correct thing to do. Regardless of whether you live in Jersey or Kentucky. Not to mention you admitted it online. The call to 911, yeah. Just my two cents.
  10. Maybe this can be of help: http://armedcitizensnetwork.org/
  11. Sleepy's was pretty good to us. We were able to negotiate a little here and there so everyone was happy.
  12. Still haven't seen it. But... http://zombie.wikia.com/wiki/Differences_Between_Surviving_Fast_and_Slow_Zombies lol.
  13. Someone figured out how to scam the system. Good for them. lol.
  14. You're getting a lot of sound advice here, Shawnmoore81. I too am a ham and hold the call N2ICZ, with a General Class license. I also recommend you spend some time on the ARRL site and get some background on what the hobby is all about. The hobby can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be, but there are certain licensing requirements and protocols to be aware of before you transmit, etc. When I started (back when the Magna Carta was signed) I had what the ham community calls an "Elmer", Simply it's a person who mentors you through all this. If you have a local ham club, and someone who lives relatively close to you, touch base with them and see if they'll let you sit in on their station, etc. A local ham club can be worth it's weight in gold when you're just getting started.
  15. Haven't seen it yet. Planning to next week with the Mrs. Apparently there is internet debate about fast vs. slow zombies and authenticity, etc. I have no allegiance to slow or fast moving zombies. Both scare the crap out of me. lol.
  16. ^^ This. It's similar to asking someone who's been in the military and has seen action, "Hey, did you kill someone?" IMO, it's not for us to ask and not for us to tell.
  17. Some food for thought: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhZf_x8Esms
  18. If they could somehow tax our farts, they would.
  19. I was thinking the same thing. How could they possibly enforce this? Unless, its registered as a sale, like a drink, and the $ placed in the register.
