The difference between a 12.5" barrel and a 14.5" barrel isn't much.  If you're worried about length, get an upper with a 14.5" Barrel and pinned brake that makes it 16".

Was thinking of going with this which is 10.5". Was considering getting a 14.5" barrel but can't seem to find one at PSA

As long as it's legal I don't see why you would. If you have any questions or you're not sure, ask. This isn't a project to wing it on. Good luck!

    Thanks! will do

For now. The general concern for other type firearms is that the rules on them will be changed in NJ. It is very likely that such a thing could occur without involving the senate or assembly and even if it needed to that’s not really an obstacle.

If things were to change, could I swap with a 16"  compliant upper and go about my business?

  3. I am considering purchasing this rifle with the necessary mods done on it to make it NJ compliant. http://www.spikestactical.com/z/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=113&products_id=443'>http://www.spikestactical.com/z/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=113&products_id=443

Is this a good deal and a good rifle? It will come with a 30rd magazine that is modded to accept only 10 rounds http://www.spikestactical.com/z/index.php? main_page=product_info&cPath=63_102&products_id=341

Is this OK in New Jersey? When people see it they of course will automatically think that it is a banned magazine.

Are there better deals to be found locally on a comparative build?

  4. I'm not going to have the opportunity to present a case if a RO or LEO wants to break my balls at the range. I'm starting to gather from the lack of anyone coming forward as having had a problem, that I should be OK shooting at the places that I mentioned.

  5. I'm planning on getting this variant in a NJ legal form. Will I have any problem shooting it at Bullet Hole. I plan on joining Cherry Ridge. Would it be OK to shoot there also? I know it is legal, but I do not want any hassles. If it will be a problem I might just settle for another type of rifle.

  6. What exactly are the Nazis protecting? Has there been that much violence or has it been blown out of proportion? There is gang violence in many parts of the US, but we do not see the need for militia's everywhere. Is there any reason why the State can not enforce its own laws without relying on the Federal government? When you ask the Federal government for help then you must accept their dominance and legislation.

When you support the actions of a group of people, what is to stop you from joining them?

  7. I posted this in another thread, but it is also be relevant here. My sentiments might not find popular support on this board, but I believe it has some merit.

At least he is being honest. You can't blame the media for reporting something had these undertones from the start. The whole illegal alien hysteria is nothing more than an attempt to deflect people's attention away from the dismal state of affairs that this country finds itself in. If a true solution was being sought to illegal immigration then someone would point out that corporate America welcomes Mexican immigrants for their cheap labor and lobbies the government for it to continue. It is a common ploy to create a scapegoat to give people a reason for their dissatisfaction, as the National Socialist Movement has done before.
