Exactly. We are going to cut no more than 2 inches from the bottom straight through. Then 90 over to the wall to the vent stack Thanks

The plan is to cut the 3" copper so the invert of the new PVC tee is around 1 1/4" above the bottom of the joist above the existing copper tee. We will use a mission coupling there. (Most likely have to make a small hole behind my baseboard upstairs to tighten the top of that coupling). Then we will run new PVC all the way to the toilet and all the way down to the crawl space. The crawl space will have the second mission coupling. This way there really is no worry about having the fernco coupling behind anything. The one up too will only be part of a vent. I will take pics when we start Friday night

Well the plumber came. Nicest guy. I help and to move the toilet drain and re route 3 water lines its 300 bucks. Money well spent! Thanks guys!

I can order all of those items as I know a guy in sales. We do use a stopper as well so that is good news!

Plumber is coming over tomorrow night to look at it. My friends dad said he does great work and has used him for all his jobs when he was in home improvement. If I can get that pipe moved and the other 3 water pipes as well for a reasonable price I'm going with him. Peace of mind

Thanks for the advice. Ill be calling a plumber tonight when I get off work. A friends guy he has used for years and he said he won't bang me on hourly rate. Ill keep ya posted

Se more pics so you can see a little better. No problems with cutting a hole in the joist. They are 9.5 inches.

With PVC I would still need to use 2 ferncos where the 3" copper drain/vent is. I bought the PVC tee and , some sch-40 pipe and the ferncos so I can raise it in the joist. The problem with that is After installing the first fernco, the tee would still be too low. Actually I would have to cut more wood in the corner where the tee would go as the PVC is thicker. This one is killing my brain

Hey guys. In the middle if a kitchen remodel. Removed the soffit today and the upstairs toilet drain was in there My only option to move it above the floor joists is to use a flexible 90 fernco at the toilet end and a fernco sewer tee at the existing 3" copper drain/vent pipe. Some people said as long as it installed correctly it should be fine. Just thought I would get some advice from any plumbers here. On the other hand i did get a few cabinets installed on the other side of the room and so far I am very happy with the way they look Thanks!

Quickly did a search and they have hundreds of complaints. I may be better going myself after all. My main reason for going myself was saving money but also to make sure nothing was damaged. I would hate to start installing everything only to find out some was damaged

Guys, jut putting a feeler out there. I am re doing my kitchen and bought flooring for my entire lower level and new cabinets for the kitchen. The warehouse is in hegins, pa, about a 3 hour drive. To get everything shipped its about 600.00. To rent a uhaul truck it ends up being more. I was going to borrow a dual axle trailer from a buddy and go out tomorrow to pick up everything but my son had his adenoids and tonsils out yesterday so this weekend will not work. I can still go out another weekend but I thought what the hell, ill see if someone here is a trucker and goes by hegins pa at all. Cant hurt to ask right? Haha Thanks guys

It's a 50,000 dollar pay cut. No way in hell could I do that. I heard they cut the starting pay a lot. And I'm 38 years old. That's why if I was younger I would def do it

Theist is supposed to be good for only 2 years. I took it well over 2 years ago and am still getting invitations for corrections and sheriff. Once I realized the pay cut it would be I knew I couldn't do it. If I was 22 again I would do it. Best of luck to you and your daughter

I was in the same barracks as these guys when I was stationed in Pendleton. Always wore the tight beige shorts with way small force recon tees. Hung out at pool and gym all day but would be done for weeks on end when training. Baddest bunch if jarheads I have ever seen!

I will definitely pour my patio at the same time. I'm sure I can get the concrete work for almost nothing. Even if not for nothing I can get 4" thick over 4" stone for 3.50 sf. If I would budget a quick number for me it would be 2000-2500 for all if the concrete around the pool that I need.

I would definitely get the liner with the UV. As far as hiring any guy off the corner, I would not do that. For the actual pool installation I would use the same guys any other pool companies use after I checked their references. This is still just a thought in my mind so a lot could change by the time we are ready to pull the trigger

Remixer I woke this morning with that exact thought. I am a project manager and have managed very large jobs so I am sure I cans sub out the work myself. After some research it looks like most if not all pool companies sub out the work anyway. I have a mason I have given a lot of work to over the years so its payback time. I have a friend who is an electrician, and have multiple sources for excavating. I can also buy all of the plumbing materials at cost. I will definitely look into this. If I go this route I can probably go with concrete instead of vinyl and still be at around 20,000 or less depending on what I can get thrown in
