I took the Green Academy version at Dix 14 and thought it was great. Instructor very knowledgeable. Very very organized, no amateur crap. Different scope than NRA Basic Pistol but still much better and more expensive. And my wife wants to know what the hell I will do with permits in 32 states none of which are NJ!!!!!!!

I ride a road bike in Spandex and also a cruiser in basically street clothes. It's all good. But let's be fair. There are plenty of A holes driving cars. There are plenty of ignorant dopes out there in Spandex. My question is: what are the NJ firearm transport laws for bikes of any type????????????? LOL.

After full sizing my 223 brass seems to be short, call it 1740 and up. Hardly ever have to trim. The main question - what is the lower limit? 1730? So is this bad and why? As usual other forums are confusuing. Any reference to previous posts?? Thanks.

I won't get into names but absolutely there are differences in the various AKs. You have to check it out and decide. Does it have a bullet guide already? Were the rivets done by a 3rd grader from Shop School? Ugly gas block or the kool style? Etc. How much dough do you want to spend? What quality and features and looks will you accept? Then just do it.

FYI (sorry if posted elsewhere but this is the AMMO section) Route 130 North, Bordenrtown, NJ. CCI standard velocity round nose lead. Approx $40 per brick, one per customer. This is why your wife needs an FFL card, so you can buy two bricks. This is the second time in about 10 days that they had good stock. It appears that things are loosening up but I doubt it. Also have smaller boxes.

My letter to Trenton Times: I read today that Sen. Sweeney and the citizens of CT are acting on behalf of the poor ignorant citizens of NJ. A few words for those from CT. Please go home, stay home and mind your own business. We don't need you or your opinions in NJ. And Sen. Sweeney? Do you work for NJ or CT? Make up your mind and act accordingly. In PA there are no magazine capacity limits. Can we have a PA committee contact you with their opinion? Please, Sen. Sweeney, act like a big boy and do your job for NJ, not CT. As for the issue at hand, there is no right answer. Various states have various capacity limits. None are proven to accomplish anything positive. Does anyone seriously think that the proposed law will bother criminals? Their solutions are easy. Carry multiple guns, more powerful guns and fill your cargo pants with lots of legal and illegal magazines. They are not afraid of clueless NJ Senators and Assemblypersons. The current NJ law (15 per mag.) is doing just fine. Finally I trust that Gov. Christie will give this nonsense bill an appropriate death by veto. Thank you, Governor.

I was there on Wed. around 10am. Two 22lr bricks (me 1 and wife 1). Price at @$28 was fantastic. I don't think any Cabelas store anywhere ever has a significant powder stock. Nice store. No real reason to go to Hamburg now. I am about 55 miles north.
