  1. FYI if you go to the shoot you will most likely be buying a shotgun shortly after. Shooting clays is super addictive
  2. Not 100% sure on the legality of handguns but every large boat I've been on or worked on always had a 12g shotgun and usually a semi auto rifle too. I've used a 12g many times to kill tuna, mako and swordfish before bringing them aboard. Semi auto rifles were always there for priate defense. If you have a FID I don't see any reason one can't have a unloaded long gun aboard. If your traveling interstate you would have to follow interstate transportation procedures.
  3. You should still buy it so you can take me fishing on RV whenever I come back to NJ.
  4. Round valley has a 9.9 hp limit. That's a sweet boat for RV though you'd be limiting out on Lakers and rainbows in no time if you get it
  5. As for my garden, potatoes are up and I have mounded them twice already. Lettuce and spinich are coming in well but it's been really hot up here so its probably going to bolt on me quick. Cucumbers, butternut squash, and carrots are all up and doing well. Ill be buying my tomato plants and some herbs tomorrow
  6. How's the cucumber beetle battle?
  7. One does not need a fid to transport any firearm (yes in NJ bb guns and pellet guns are considered firearms) only to purchase them. If you have your FID you could keep any long gun unloaded in your vehicle at all times. Without an FID you are limited to and from range/ hunting, gunsmith and any homes or properties you own/lease. You can legally kill pests such as squirrel with an air rifle out of season if you can show proof of 500$ or more of damage to your home. If not you can be charged with taking game out of season. You would have to abide by the legal hunting distances to other homes unless you have permission (450' i think). If your shooting squirrel just because you don't like them around your house just move to the city and stay out of the park
  8. No permits needed in VT, NH, and ME all are constitutional carry states. However one needs a permit to carry in certain parkes in Maine such as Arcadia

    Next pistol

1911 every one needs at least one 1911 in their collection but then you really should get a revolver too.
  10. Don't be so sure, her ass takes quite a few square feet of material to just barely cover it.....
  11. I got the jetboil as a gift and really like it but I always buy MSR equipment because they make great stuff and are a really good company. I got a free pair of snow shoes for my daughter but all the straps were dry rotted. I called to get a replacement. The girl that helped me said normally it would be 18 bucks for new straps but "kids are awesome and need to get outside so I'm sending them for free" Her sending me 18 bucks worth of straps now gained a customer for life so I went out and bought MSR snow shoes for my wife and I and they weren't cheap.
  12. I have a stihl commercial string trimmer, 2 still chain saws ms291 and ms150 farm and ranch models and a stihl hand held blower. The saws take allot of abuse but I maintain them properly. I cut and bucked 5 chords of firewood with one chain on each of my saws but I clean them every day of use, sharpen the chain every 3 logs and flip the bar every time I sharpen and only use non ethanol fuel in them. The leaf blower litterally fell off a truck and I found it in my lawn in NJ, the priming bulb is cracked and it still starts up no problem. I'll never buy anything but stihl!
  13. I have my grandparents coleman stove but only use when I car camp because its probably 50 times heavier than than my jet boil
  14. A coworker showed up with a mask that had the black panther fist on it. She was sent home for the day. lol
  15. I have one that i made myself out of an old circular saw blade. Its pretty dangerous because I dont have any guard on it but it works really really well for clearing heavy brush and would probably work equally well for rioters.
  16. This is a gun forum so the correct answer is tannerite
  17. My wincheater M21 has an English stock on it and its my favorite by far, I think im faster on getting the gun up and on a bird than with a pistol grip stock. Now that I mostly just hunt grouse and woodcock I've been considering picking up a 28g because I've been able to find allot of them with english stocks. Obviously the M21 dosent come into the woods any more.
  18. Did you clean and lube the gun before you shot it?
  19. My town PD has all focus's and just one Dakota and one explorer for when the snow gets too deep. The sheriff's mostly have explorers.
  20. Yes I agree its not easy to modify a dogs behavior once its been established but it can be done. Its allot of work and it requires the owner to make big changes in order to be successful. Like I said before the majority of dog owners aren't willing to put forth the time a d effort and make sacrifices in order to modify the dogs bad behaviors. I have a daschund named Luger, someone abandoned him in East Hannover and I picked him up as a stray when I was working animal control. He was so aggressive towards the shelter staff during his 7 day hold they had to use a catch pole on him to clean the run he was held in. I did not have a kid at the time so I took on the challenge of taming him instead of euthanizing him. Pretty quickly I broke him of his aggressiveness towards myself and my wife. A few months later he started to guard the property and other than my wife and I he would attack anything that came near our property. He even attacked a full grown white German Shephard and of course got his ass kicked. I did not have enough experience with behavior modification so I consulted a dog trainer specializing in behavioral modification. She showed me some methods and tips and tricks. Over the years we definitely have had to keep up on his training but he's a well behaved member of our household and has had no issues with my daughter who is now 4 and he gets along with all other dogs now on and off our property. It took allot of work and will continue to be some extra work but it is possible when the owner is willing to work hard at it. Pit bull breeds are way smarter than daschunds so it is usually easier to modify their behavior.
  21. It is inevitable. The dog obviously was not socialized properly if at all. It can be socalized properly but its allot of work that 99% of dog owners aren't willing to do. The dogs behavior always comes back to the owners and lack of training as ive said before A chain link fence inside a fenced in area is the way to go and if often mandated by towns after a dog has severely bitten or killed another domestic animal or person. A 6 foot buffer in between the 1st and 2nd fence is ideal to
  22. At least you weren't on a talyor ham forum
  23. At least its not a step latter tied to an extension latter. I personally have seen that.
  24. Anyone need a tent? I can tell you where to go to collect your unplanned donation of a tent.
