  1. As part of the bail reform legislation recently passed

there will be a ballot question allowing the State Constitution to be amended.

Below is the language being changed/added in this constitutional amendment question. The part in brackets is in the NJ Constitution now, and will be replaced by the text after that.

Why this is relevant to gun owners is that the details of which defendants can be held without bail is yet to be determined.

We're basically giving the legislature carte blanche to deny certain people the right to bail.

Anyone doubt that the wording "protect the safety of any other person or the community" will apply to anyone charged under our ridiculous gun laws? Hell, some judge might even feel that gun owners, no matter the charge, are especially dangerous and therefore ineligible for release on bail.

This was my first thought also...

  2. I usually pick them up in bulk when I find them .Costco will have them periodically when the have a traeger smoker road show. the edison branch had them  from aug 8-17. Mount Laurel branch has them from aug 29- sep 7.  these are the best price that I have found by far. The Traeger hickory pellets are my favorite.

What brand pellet smoker are you picking up?

  3. might be some interesting items.cash payments of $100 for assault weapons, $50 for handguns and $25 for rifles or shotguns

  4. Well, I'm sure Sen. Weinberg and her cronies from Columbia U are cackling with glee. I don't know what all the drama is about, as I don't have facebook, thankfully. But it's always the case, I see it at CJRPC, and volunteer committees and organizations everywhere. It usually follows the script of some person(s) take initiative and do something, the organization gains momentum and members, and requires a structure for operational or legal reasons. This of course may involve money, and as soon as people donate some money, they expect things to go the way they want to. A dissident faction questions how the money is being spent, and accuses the founders and builders of all sorts of malfeasance and incompetence. Founders leave, along with their allies, and the dissidents rarely step up and actually run things, their specialty is complaining, not actually doing. The organization shambles along for awhile, and mayyyybeeee somoene else steps up and gets things going again. Or not, and the whole thing goes in the dustbin. We'll see how NJ2As weathers this storm. I have more faith in the group and appreciate all the hard work they have done in the past few years

In my opinion this is a perfect explanation of the situation.

  5. It is VERY refreshing to me knowing that there are LEOS like yourself on here that are like minded. Your opinion is valued more than you know. I do know a few that will bust you for having your shoe laces untied...

    This...

  6. Enjoy the time you have with your loyal companion, don't make him suffer through chemo.  Try the holistic, and make him comfortable.  The hardest thing to do is the right thing when its time to end his suffering.

Anything that makes a dog unable to act like a dog isn't going to make either one of you happy for long. Good luck.Hope you find the right treatment .

  7. original question...
