  1. I usually wear an XL or 2XL on shirts to have them be looser. Also - thicker material helps vs thin. I did just order a couple of the Vedder wedges - gonna see if they help to push in the grip butt a bit... Will try it with a couple different holsters and see how it helps.
  2. I do need to get a couple of wedges… which ones are you using?
  3. Lately, I've been wearing a fleece vest to help hide the printing. This with holsters even with a claw. Crossbreed Reckoning and Safariland IncogX for my G48 and P365 XMacro w/ Romeo Zero respectively. I definitely notice the P365 prints more or has more protrusions with the RDS and longer grip. I may try swapping out back to irons with the P365 and switching to the Wilson Combat grip which is P365X size, to see if that is less... pokey. When it gets warmer, I may have to switch back to 5:00 Carry or a smaller gun or shorter grip.
  4. Saw that when I woke up this morning - crazy. Gotta wonder if it's going to cause any copycat style attacks now... sigh.
  5. My BIL was in almost the same boat with the airport situation - he's with American. He moved to Bucks county, PA (North of Philly) so he could be within driving distance of Philly, Newark, JFK and La Guardia.... He did get assigned Philly as his main hub though.
  6. Thanks for this! Rosey has been crazy tied up as he's been running the Hog Hunt, then Pheasant Hunt, and the Hog Hunt this weekend. We definitely appreciate the donations - and stay tuned! Can't get into details, but things are in the works.
  7. Then you should be fine if you convert them to non-nfa "other" firearms. Swap out the stocks for braces, make sure there's a VFG on them, and the OAL is greater than 26"
  8. Unfortunately if they're already rifles, they can't technically be turned into Non-NFA Other Firearms. You're better off selling or making compliant. M1 Carbine is banned by name due to the Plainfield Riots.... It doesn't make sense. It's an infringement plain and simple. Unfortunately there's no way to bring one in legally. I would sell that one off (or find a place out of state to store it long term).

    Colt 1911 grips

Probably gonna say fake then lol...
  10. My friend's daughter went with a P365 in .380 for her first gun. She's not carrying yet - needs to get more practice/training.
  11. Closest is Sunset Hill in the Poconos. They have a M249 https://sunsetrange.com/rental-gallery-price-list/ Shooters Gauntlet MG shoots are coming up. Saturday & Sunday June 1-2, 2024 Saturday & Sunday Sept. 21-22, 2024 https://www.shootersgauntlet.com/mg-shoots A little farther out - in Western PA: https://www.washingtoncountyguns.com/inventory There are a few places in Texas too - One right near Dallas. https://www.riflegearrange.com/machine-gun-rentals Or find cool people that have their own (No it's not mine)
  12. Hmm. I work near there - will have to check 'em out.
  13. pretty sure OP is in South Jersey so it may not be worth the ride... Though we are having a Diversity Shoot at GFH on the 22nd...
  14. Currently have a G48 in my carry rotation. Grip is definitely slimmer - I don't have large hands and I found I had to put on Talon grips to make it comfortable enough to shoot a lot. I have the OG Non-MOS 2-tone version... It's all Mike Lowrey Bad Boys 2 two-tone'd out.... Back when the G43x and G48 launched, I shot both and chose the G48 over the 43x for the reasons HE stated. It's much nicer shooting. Yes, the G43x cycles slightly faster, but man - you do feel that recoil more.
  15. 1791 Gun Leather just came out with some good Light options - I'm going to get a couple to try out.
  16. There are still some caveats to be aware of even with permitless carry. https://www.jaxsheriff.org/Resources/PermitlessCarry.aspx
  17. Oh nice. I was wondering about that. Good info.
  18. There are several but they're all pricey. SVT40, VEPR 7.62x54R, or a PSL-54C... even a Yugo M91..... most will set you out over $2500 Or get a Lee Enfield in .303 British for under $1k
  19. Was hanging with the DSI guys at SHOT Show - great guys. Look for more cool stuff coming from them soon.
  20. Shot nice. I think I'm going to get a Gen 3 eventually. Right now they're only G19 size - the grip is short. Otherwise, the improvements are nice.
