Yea there's never a wait. I was saying the wait at gfh would make me go to g&s. Yea it's something like 7 ports in the basement. Like a dungeon, but it works.

I agree that the price and distance gfh is much better of a deal. the only thing is the wait at gfh can get long on the weekends and if your short on time its faster to go here. The range is definitely older and kind of outdated.

i havent shot there in a while but every time i went on a weekend morning i was the only one shooting, maybe 1 other shooter. theres not many houses right where it is so there will probobly be more open parking after 5 than before 5.

Parking is street parking. what time would you be going? ive gone on sunday or saturday mornings and theres plenty of parking and nobody around. weekdays might be harder to find parking but still shouldn't be to hard. there's not much traffic around as its basically the end of downtown.

I'm not even a member but agree he does a ton for the whole community. And the renters is a pathway to new shooters and more people supporting us. Maybe reviewing policy will help maybe not. But that's his decision to make.

i think the two lines is so members dont have to wait while renters pick out what to rent, buy ammo, get everything they need explained ect. when no members are waiting they pull from the non member line.

I would encourage your to at least go visit the place on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Why do you think they are building a members only range next door? also i agree the 1.2 million number is wrong. i heard that number too but dont believe it. on this link it says 104k visitors. thats much more believable but still a very high number. http://gunforhire.com/first-time-shooting/

I would be willing to bet that there are more renters than owners on the weekend at GFH. Not sure about other ranges. But from what i have seen there i would think most on the weekends dont have a FID. The majority of people are waiting empty handed, no range bag or anything with them. And most of us that own guns also bring our own ammo. So there goes a good portion of their ammo sales. Not saying whats right wrong or anything but just stating your numbers dont seem right to me.

I think your numbers are way off here, people rent the gun, buy ammo at high rates, pay for range time. If they didnt rent then no ammo sale no range time sale. On a weekend it is nearly all renters and there is always a wait. I went a few months ago on a sunday in the morning there was a 2 hr wait. I understand they have a ton of overhead too. But without the renters the range would not be as packed as it is and they wouldnt need all the employees they have. There must be 30 people working between rso's, concierges, and people working the sign in desk with the rentals and all. Im not sure but i would go to say the rentals are a big part of their total sales here and without the rentals i dont think they would be expanding as much as they are. These are just my opinions. I agree maybe some policies should be looked at again. but that is their business policies.

For a city like paterson is $400 million the state gave to the city's schools not enough? The city tax levy for schools is around 39 million I believe. Then because it's an Abbott district everyone else in the state helps pay for them to get extra money. The cost per student is way more than most towns. The parents and the administration are the issues. Parents don't care, don't show up to conferences ect. Administration try to make their schools look good by not having to report problems by not suspending or disciplining students. Where the money going in these districts? Political hires? Friends being given jobs with no skill? There are good teachers in these districts but alot of crap teachers too. But what do you expect when administration doesn't help teachers why would good teachers stay? When students can corner a teacher and threaten them then when it gets reported the principal does nothing no report or anything written what do you expect that teacher to do? They will leave and tell any friends in the district and they will also try to leave. Hence a big revolving door of teachers. And lots of crap staying to teach. But again this comes from administrations not doing their job. If kids want to learn a skill they can go to county tech schools and learn trades. Passaic county tech has many trade programs and students can apply from anywhere in the county to go there at no cost to the student or their family. I mean things aren't perfect but these kids have opportunity they choose not to take it. Looks good like always. I used his contact through his website about 2 weeks ago. But never heard back from him does he not respond to emails or is he just slow to respond? I'm in no rush. But need to get something done since his stuff is so nice.

94.7 the country Station has ads for anjrpc and bullet hole I've noticed. I think I heard another range ad on there but don't remember who.

I was just looking at that 20sf yesterday on his Instagram didn't know it's yours. Do you come up with these schemes or does he? I wanna get something done but not very creative myself. Also if you don't mind me asking what's a ballpark price you spend for something like that.

i would check with dynamic combat solutions in wayne. Others have posted work he has done its amazing. im sure he could do something similar.

i agree. if it is copper take it apart and clean it. bringing it whole you are basically being charged to have someone take it apart the same as you would do. just make sure its copper and not aluminum with a copper jacket before taking it all apart. if its aluminum i would not take it apart not worth the time at all.
