  1. NFNF. ETH. I was in class yesterday. I thought about not going because it was a one day carbine one class and I had signed up so I could keep working on fundamentals. Then I remembered how many Americans were murdered by goatfucking cowards. That lingering anger and burning hatred had me in my boots and on the range, sending lead. I wasn't seeing paper. In my mind, I saw ISIS. Every trigger press was me working through my hate. That slow burning "fuck you and everything you love" hate. Some people say it isn't healthy to hold on to so much hate but I disagree.
  2. I'm hoping this agency order comes through not because it's big money (after time to assemble and test fire, I'll make about $8/hr on the deal) but because I want these guys to have some gear they can go to war with if they needed. Small town Iowa isn't immune to shitbirds and we're seeing more organized crime elements such as Crips and Bloods. Right now, they're rolling with 7.5" Kitty Kat uppers (SMDH)...
  3. I wonder how many containers of imported gun parts are going to be affected?
  4. I call this the, "OMG where have you been all my life?!" build. It's my first with a 12.5" barrel and I can say for certainty that short of a client insisting on a 10.5 SBR or has a damn good reason why they need the extra 2" shorter, I'll be suggesting 12.5s going forward. It's so handy even with the can on. It's 1" longer than a 16" barreled upper with a full size can (pictured is a Mini/K size) so still very easy to get in and out of vehicles. This upper has a non-adjustable gas block but I'll be building more with adjustables per department request/spec.
  5. That's why I fly Southwest whenever I can...I can check two 1720s for free
  6. I'm partial to Mega Arms but Seekins Precision is turning out some great stuff. Seekins also has a complete rifle option.
  7. If you want accuracy, you will be much better served building something. The models you linked aren't necessarily precision guns.
  8. We generally don't do retail one-off jobs due to the setup, design, and testing costs involved. In the past, we have done one-offs for other dealers and manufacturers but they were buying 50+ units at a time so those costs were easier to absorb over the larger batch size.
  9. Wow, 20s are gone already! Well, my decision to poach one for a build was made for me
  10. I have a personal rifle built with an Odin 3 Gun barrel and their extended mag release. Unless I'm doing something where OAL is an issue like in a shoothouse, this is my go-to rifle for basically everything. I've shot and killed varmints from 10 yards to 400 yards with it. I've shot sub-MOA steel as far as 700 yards in high winds (30mph sustained, 40mph gusts) with it. I absolutely believe Odin is making some of the best barrels on the market today and they are priced very competitively.
  11. Lengths available: 18" and 20" BCG and gas block are included with the barrel. 18" also includes the intermediate length gas tube Made of handlapped 416R stainless steel 1 MOA guarantee with match ammo Also, 3 Gun barrels are back in stock
  12. I've been visiting web forums for nearly 20 years and I still visit some that I don't have attachment to such as car forums where I sold the car years ago for the sense of community. Drama threads can be interesting but they get old fast but this may be partly because I see/hear so much public and private industry drama that I burn out on drama pretty quickly. I also like meme threads because, well, who doesn't like memes?
  13. Given market conditions and what the industry is expecting as far as the outcome of the election, it's no surprise to me that you aren't finding good deals on potentially endangered species of guns. There's one lower receiver OEM that I know of that is over 200K units backordered right now....
  14. It wouldn't be legal anywhere in the US then
  15. With the low cost Glock lowers that New Frontier is putting out, there's no reason not to. I just put a non-reciprocating sidecharging upper on mine and it's damn-near perfect now.
  16. Romper is good people. I'll see him again in October for an edged weapons class and maybe sooner as he's wanting to check out some gear I have so we might arrange a range day/demo.
  17. Romper's one of 'em. Tell him I said, "hi" if you run into him.
  18. I'm so jealous. So, so, SO jealous. There were even guys on the way to Alliance who drove right through my town and I could've piled in but adulting/parenting prevailed...
  19. After about six weeks of treating with the fertilizer that fishnut recommended, the plants have continued to do well. We have about a dozen butternut squash already and we're getting an increasing number of tomatoes of all varieties. I just ordered another gallon of the Tiger Bloom to feed them through the fruiting portion of the life cycle. Those tomato plants in the back are over 9' tall now.
  20. I'm still adding SKUs to the catalog but they should be up soon.
  21. Just to put this in perspective...that $479 for the trigger could pay for a three day carbine class where you'll learn to shoot faster AND more accurately without inducing training scars related to unique FCG behavior. Just sayin'....
  22. They have them broken out as three SKUs: Designated Marksman, Service Rifle, and Match. The lightest is the Match.
  23. Not any more. Geissele put a stop to that
  24. Thanks for the high praise! I'm still working on getting all SKUs listed in the catalog and I can't remember if the LTG LPKs and the combo with the ALG triggers is listed yet. If not, they'll be up soon.
