  1. Just saw a nice one on the Beretta Forum : http://berettaforum.net/vb/showthread.php?t=87355
  2. gun is SPF - thank you all for looking
  3. BUMP for more ammo found and a ONE WEEK PRICE REDUCTION SPECIAL!!!
  4. Here they are. The guy that sold it to me said that it was a policeman's backup gun. So it was holstered, probably used to qualify and otherwise not shot much at all. Shows some holster wear on the slide, mechanically perfect. Any smudges you see is just a bit of oil. Feels great in the hand. The black paddle holster is a DeSantis, the brown belt loop is a Galco.
  5. Got this gun from Adam a few months back, liked it very much - so much so that I bought an extra (3rd) magazine, black grips and stocked up on ammo. An opportunity has come up to get something I want even more, so I gotta liquidate this at a loss. So: 85F, 2 holsters, 3 mags, wood grips & black plastic grips, 500 rounds of ammo (350 of Armscor 115gr FMJ, 50 S&B 115gr FMJ & 100 Aguila 147gr JHPs), a hard case - $375 - WEEK OF 6/18 - 6/22 ONLY Look at post #5 below for pics. Buyer must have unexpired P2P & FID with matching DL.
  6. I know - I looked at it on Satuday - feels great in the hand - that's why I decided I really want one. I'm just trying to find a used one, because I have the time to look while I wait for OGAM. New, I can always get - @ Lou's or online... Thanx Adam - good luck with you Mosquito sale, btw...
  7. Bump for a new week, with some changes to my desires... see editing above...
  8. Thanks - I heard lots of good things about Jim. The Stoeger I'd prefer in .45. Eventually I'll have both, but for now if I'll end up getting a 9mm, it'll most likely be a 92 series - more common, easier to get parts/mags. I'm also trying to go the "previously enjoyed" route first - I've had good experiences with buying used so far and have saved some $$$ doing so.
  9. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Don't give away the secret!!! Now I'll have competition! I'm also leaning more and more toward the 92FS for my very last permit in 1.75 months...
  10. Before I get carried away with Gunbroker..... I may as well put a feeler up on the dear ol' forum... I've got 3 more weeks to wait for OGAM, then a deal in the works and then a month more to use my very last permit.... so plenty of time to wait around for a nice deal, which I won't be able to complete until late June anyway. I don't care much for shiny guns, so not very interested in Inox, don't have anything else in .40 so (unless it's a terrific deal on a 96 a 8040 Cougar) not interested in that.... and no "D" / DAOs Other than that, I would be very interested in: Steel Frame Baby Eagle or Jericho in 9mm (really, really want this one) 8045F Cougar (either Beretta or Stoeger) Beretta 9000s in 9mm Model 71, 87, 89 or Neos (.22lr) so whaddaya got? PM me... thanks!
  11. I'd be down.... (I wanted to put a Borat quote, but brain no worky)
  12. Thanks for waiting almost 2 months for my permits & OGAM! I love my new (to me) Beretta!
  13. Welcome! now the dreaded "30 day timer" starts....
  14. Welcome from nearby Bridgewater!

  16. +1 for Lou's and for Chris - excellent place, excellent people. What about the Beretta 85 Cheetah (single stack - all metal .380) - it's a bit more pricey, but it's "the Cadillac of .380s" - can't go too wrong with the Walther though...
  17. Welcome from nearby Bridgewater! and of course, another +1 for SCF&GPA - the only local place to shoot....

    FN or Beretta

+1 to the 92, I shot one last weekend and prefer that to the PX4.

    FN or Beretta

I had a PX4 Storm and traded it away... it was nice, but after having it for a while, there was just something about it that I wasn't into... I like Berettas in general, just not the PX4, I realized...
