    Kel-Tec SU-16

The stock holds 2 extra mags, or one if you're in America.... There's no "black rifle" pistol grip, but otherwise it seems so cool. I hope someone has one and can review...
  3. My $0.02 - it's perfectly legal as long as the firearms are transported according to regulations. My wife's boss owns a large farm, on which he shoots his rifles, as the township where the farm is located has no "no-discharge" laws. I have an invitation to come up there and shoot one of these weekends, which I fully intend to do and it will be fully legal. As you are driving to this fun activity, I would assume the OP would not be driving under the influence, or excessively speeding. So I wonder, if you somehow get stopped by a LEO on your way to said farm, how would the legally stored firearms in your trunk come into the conversation? "Where are you going, sir?" would be a question from this hypothetical LEO, to which you would answer "To spend time on a friend's horse farm". It may, by some strange chance come to "Is there anything in the car that I should know about?" - the answer should be "No, Officer". WHY, oh WHY would you think that you would randomly get asked if there are firearms in the vehicle? The NRA & "We Don't Call 911" bumper sticker on your car? That's a bad idea, in my opinion. Unless you look shady, your car smells like drugs or something like that, you'll get your ticket or your warning and that will be all...

Nice video, Nick. Looks like the recoil is pretty manageable.... Love that SCF&G "echo"

    Nano Nano

Congrats, Nick! Maybe we could meet up @ SCF&G someday - I'd love to check it out!!! Nice pistol, bro - Beretta put out a Nano video - 1,000, no lubrication - no issues - very impressive
  6. I thought it was 9A, like Route 9 ... anyway, it's a bit silly... could've been done much better... "Pure Douche" in my opinion...
  7. pics of the S&W 686 Pro 4 1/4" ?
  8. why does it say "9-A"? it would make sense if it said "2-A", it's kinda cool... I might get one...
  9. There's a NJGF group on LinkedIn, all are encouraged to join...
  10. I like how this turned into the "Russian movies thread" - I'll try to find those. I think I've seen "Джек Восьмеркин, Американец" , while we're at it, any recommendations for WWII movies? I just watched the first 2 episodes of "Семнадцать Мгновений Весны" ... I'm almost tempted to just switch the whole thread to Russian.
  11. @Алёша - СПАСИБО!!!! @RedBowTie - do you know anyone that has done this?
  12. XAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXA!!! Hilarious! So we have one opinion in favor of S&W and against "crappy piece of nostalgia".... I just saw "Приключения Неуловимых Мстителей" on this site of Russian Torrents where I download cartoons for the kids sometimes. Haven't seen it in over 20 years and wondered how it would look like to me now, in another country, all grown up and with some more firearms knowledge. What are those movies you'd mentioned? I haven't heard of them and can't really tell the names, would you mind retyping them in our native language? I thought the pressure of .32 longs is higher or something like that? You know anyone that did that? I read somewhere that it's not recommended, but you know.... not everything on the interwebs can be trusted...
  13. hahaha, I gotta Torrent that one. It's funny how we never paid attention to any of that when we were younger, or before we got into firearms ourselves... I remember watching these in "Pioneer Camp"...
  14. @Aleshka - Well, I just re-watched "Неуловимые Мстители" recently and it just brought back memories and made the gun seem cool to have .... and yah, it just seemed like it never ran out of bullets, especially that train chase scene. My pops, uncles and grand uncles would think it's super cool, if they ever got to see it... I have small hands, so I guess the grips would be better for me. Would I be able to check it out someday? Maybe meet up somewhere? I'm in no rush, I have 3 permits coming (any day now, grrrrr) and the first 2 are already spoken for... So you think they'll be coming up in price, eh? I guess most .357s or 9s that I'd consider aren't as "volatile" in price, so maybe grab a good deal while they are still to be had... and I'd want a Tula one, not Izhevsk .... on that note, a "Тульский Токерев" like in "Брат 2" would be sweeter, but that's another thread .... @RedBowTies88 - I've read about those replacement cylinders that make it shoot .32, but I thought they were nearly impossible to find and required some gunsmithing to install. It would also reduce that historical/nostalgic value, by taking out the funky ammunition that the gun shoots, which is different from.... basically all other kinds of ammunition...
  15. This was pretty much my logic about it... it'd be my first revolver - I'm not too interested in them...
  16. Hey Guys! I've been curious about the Russian Nagant Revolver lately, the M1895 Nagant, in 7.62x38R. Purely for the historical/nostalgic factor. The ammo would cost an arm and a leg and it takes long to reload, but I wonder how it would feel in the hand. Anyone have one? What are your thoughts on it?
  17. Welcome to the forum!!! It's a great resource!

    Do I need a revolver?

Chris, that Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman is totally droolworthy.... I don't like shiny guns... I've got 3 permits coming, 2 already spoken for (Makarov & Beretta Cheetah), maybe the third will be a revolver? I'll be on the lookout for a cheap used .357 Actually, the only revolver that really interests me is a Russian Nagant. I know the ammo is expensive, but the historical value (to me, at least) is through the roof. I remember it from the old Soviet movies of my youth. Not to hijack this thread, but... does anyone have one? I've seen YouTube videos of it, but holding it in the hand and shooting it is different, I guess...
  19. I think so... the Bulgarian is SPF to me...

    Do I need a revolver?

Holy Crap, guys... before I read this thread, I was pretty sure I don't care for revolvers at all, now I'm kind of reconsidering it...
  21. It's art. People spend millions on splotches of paint on a canvass done by some guy... This is kinda pretty, and if you really really had to, you could still use it to shoot ... if you could aim those sails...
  22. Welcome to the forum!!
  23. Being a wisea$$ when getting pulled over is never, ever a good idea. I used to have a night job, so I'd be coming home around 2am and at other times, I've had a bit of a lead foot. When coming home from the night job, the conversation was quick, most cops in my town knew of my workplace and that there's a night shift. Whatever the reason for the stop, my engine gets turned off, keys on the dashboard, when the officer approaches (they usually take a few minutes, run the plates, etc), my license, registration & proof of insurance is already in my hand - they're gonna ask for it anyway, no matter where this goes. both hands are on the steering wheel. The officer gets greeted with "Good day officer/trooper, how are you?" - I have been let go with just a warning or gotten the lowest ticket possible for not so great infractions, every time. It's good to be a gentleman...
