  1. Nothing new. Of the places that will even ship to nj, most ask for FID.
  2. Lowered to $750. Goes to Gunbroker next Friday.
  3. Hey Nick, how are you?... Yes, I got two reference questionnaire complete emails followed by the criminal history check, then application approved. That took exactly 1 month. 6 days later I got the email from OBPD to pick up my permits. Now I'm 24 hours into my wait for NICS...
  4. Applied 7/5 - approved by state 8/5 - picked up @ Old Bridge PD 8/11.
  5. Howard, Just because you ha trouble with a 9mm 1911, does not mean they are prone to problems. I have over 10k rounds through my S&W 9mm 1911 without any issues whatsoever. Just picked up a Range Officer in 9mm, only has about 200 rounds so far, but they have been flawless as well.
  6. That's [art of the point. No one can show you a current package of Taylor Ham, big brother banned it!!!
  7. That also basically says that Taylor's was the original. It also tells me that it is most definitely Taylor Ham! They changed the name because the government changed the definition of "ham". To that I say F the government, it's Taylor Ham!!!
  8. Yes, I know how it works. Do you have evidence to refute the info on Wikipedia?
  9. No. Pork roll (regionally known as Taylor Ham)[1][2] is a pork-based processed meat originating and commonly available in New Jersey, Delaware and parts of Pennsylvania andMaryland. It was developed in 1856[3] by John Taylor of Trenton, New Jersey, and sold as "Taylor Ham". Other producers entered the market, and subsequent food labeling regulations required Taylor to designate it as a "pork roll" alongside their competitors. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pork_roll
  10. OK, didn't think about bringing 2 different loads and deciding what to shoot after seeing the stages. I see. Just goes to show that everyone's preference is different. I prefer the .45 in a 1911. If I want softer, I just grab the 9mm 1911.
  11. When you say Play in single stack. I assume you mean USPSA? If so, what would be the point of converting to .40? I mostly see .45 for major and 9mm for minor. I'm just curious what you feel you would gain?
  12. It's been a while, but I have seen the occasional TRP at Bullseye Tactical in Woodbridge.
  13. Would that be the Rock River Arms LAR-15? I always wondered about that model number myself, but I do know more than a few people that have them and have had no issues.
  14. I'm willing to bet those Dawson mags clear up your problems. I run Wilson ETM's in my 45 RO, never had an issue. The 9's just weren't worth the hassle.
  15. I would also lean heavily towards the mags. When I picked up my S&W 9mm 1911, it came with 2 of the Wilson mags. I had seating issues, as well as feeding issues. Luckily, I had been warned about the seating issues and picked up some Tripp Cobra mags and have not had an issue since.
  16. Had the same problem last year as well. Had to meet Rich at the indoor to pick it up. This year, no problems.
  17. Thorogood zip sides. Light, comfy, and water proof. Available in several 6" or 8" variants. http://www.midwestboots.com/midwestboots.html#/?_=1&filter.brand=Thorogood&page=1&filter.gender=Men's&filter.type=Boots&filter.options=Side-Zipper

  19. Vinny is in the process of moving to Florida. I don't believe this offer is still available, unless Vinny would have it drop shipped to you from Dillon. Shoot him an email.

    HK45 and P30

Thanks, I may take you up on that. I'm going to ask around the range at the steel match on Sunday, see if I can find someone local first.
