  1. Thanks for the info! And thank you for that very descriptive and informative response. It's people like you that make me proud to be apart of this "community". When there are those of us that are legitimatly concerned about our Second Amendment rights, it's good to know I can seek guidance from educated and intelligent people, like yourself. Oh wait...
  2. After the recent events in CT, I'm a bit worried about a possible ban. If I were to purchase a 15 round magazine for a pistol or rifle today, is it possible that it would be illegal to possess after a potential ban? Should I just save my money and buy a 10-rounder instead?
  3. FINALLY back home!

  4. Hey Ray! Count me in for the Tuesday group. I just got back to Jersey after doing some traveling and my Tuesdays are free. Are you guys meeting on the 26th or did I miss it this week?
  5. Sorry I had to leave early last night. Let me know when the next meetup is, and I'll have you try out the 20 gauge right off the bat.

  6. Great time last nite. I really like the feel of that Beretta.

  7. Thanks! I still need to mount up a flashlight for doing night raids on hoards of the undead.
  8. Getting my gear in order and running practice drills for the zombie apocalypse. Just a typical weekend.

care to elaborate on your gear?

  9. I own a 20 gauge Remington 870. My friend owns a 12 gauge Mossberg 500. I've shot both and prefer my 20 gauge. The recoil is noticeably lighter. 00 buck ammo will do the same exact job if used in a home defense scenario. Unless the intruder is suited up with high grade militarized body armor, either gauge would work.
  10. I have my bachelor's degree in Law & Justice. My dream job is law enforcement, but recently, I've been considering gunsmithing. Does anyone know where I can get started in this profession? The closest gunsmithing school I've been able to find is out in Pittsburgh, PA.
  11. Thanks for your replies! I'd better run and pick it up for $470 before someone else does. I would order it online but I'd rather not deal with the transfer fees and waiting for it to arrive. When all is said and done, it would cost just the same to purchase the one in the store. Thanks again, everyone!
  12. I love the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22. I'm currently shopping around to try to find the best price. I live in north Jersey but would be willing to travel anywhere in the state to pick one up. I know Ramsey Outdoor in Paramus has one for $470, but I'd like to find it for a bit cheaper. Ideally, I'd also like to find one of the newer models, that doesn't have the ejector problems that came in the initial models. If anyone has any info for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
