  4. In need of my first semiautomatic shotgun on a 400 to 650 budget. I have always liked the A5 and can get a good shooter for under 500. The others mentioned are about that price range some a bit more. I plan on hunting birds and target clays with it may even deer if I can. Any suggestions from you guys and gals with some experience with any of them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  11. the good price at this time is when you go to a reputable store and buy it. Not from online guys who like to flip the product and get to pay 2 times what its worth. I know I will get flack fro this but they have the same business model as a drug dealer buy it cheap and sell it to people that are desperate for a high price. So don't be desperate just be patient and keep on the lookout for stores to get it in stock. you can set email updates from just about any online seller for stock alerts. good luck!
  12. http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=DU48951 anyone want to do a group buy to save on the fees? I shoot at cherry ridge often and can meet up there or within 45 min from Jersey City. I cant have it shipped to me as I am never home to sign for it so I can pay cash if you place the order. I am good for 3lbs
  13. I thought the state was going to give us all new compliant mags for our 15 rounders!

  15. thanks for all the advice guys we now need to do some serious math and logistics..
  16. I am a product of the Jersey city Public school system and I can tell you you are right any child will get what they can out of it and the very bright ones will do well anyplace.. The wife and I agreed that we would give our kid the best chance at life. If that means finding the perfect school for her and paying my entire pay check so be it. she is at this point just an average 7 year old girl just a bit sweeter then most in my opinion.. Both of my sisters are educators in public schools and in the last few years have put the kids in other schools. The Issue I have with them are misuse of funds, not enough teachers and classrooms, to much admin staff not affected by budget cuts. The children are more like a second thought after the system gets its money. in JC the cost per student of tax money set aside was 23,000 or so and they have no language programs the sciences suffer poor reading and math its just sad in my opinion. With the new testing rules the children are learning to the test so the teachers can keep jobs and at this point this program is an experiment. I don't want my child to be an experiment. Just my opinions on the new Public school system.
  17. 300,000-550,000 with the additional cost of school in mind. its a tuff nut to crack we are looking for it all under a budget. we should be able to pull some money out of our Condo in JC if it sells.
  18. anyone ever live in or near Montclair the wife seems to keep bringing that place up? and can anyone explain the drastic gap in housing prices within a block or two? I like the idea of Old bridge but need to look into the schools.

  21. Hi all, My wife and I have been thinking of moving out of Jersey City to the burbs. We have an 8 year old girl and have her education on the top of the list and the commute into lower Manhattan for work second. We have had her in private school and would like to keep her in one. Nothing wrong with public schools but we just want private. Any help or experience would be great..
