Yeah that is unfortunate but you can't fault firefighters for not wanting to go into a building that they hear gunfire going off in.
-
yeah, makes sense, just kind of scary when your are putting out a fire. I'll try and find the casing and post a pic of it when I go home next week

I'm a fire fighter and was involved with a house fire that had ammunition inside. We didn't know that it was ammunition at the time, thought the popping was either fireworks inside or an electrical transformer. The next day when we were doing mop up on what was left of the house, I found a shell casing that was all mangled underneath one of our firetrucks. So this means that it must present some kind of danger if a bullet in the house could ignite and then send the casing some 200 feet outside and land under a firetruck. Having ammo isn't illegal so homeowners should tell firefighters about it whenever possible. That and keep it inside an ammo can or other storage container and not leave it lying around.

Arms and Ammo did the pinning for me. He did a great job and I highly recommend him to anyone. He's got a thread in the vendor/sponsor section

haha yeah i got the same color one too. did u need to trim it at all to get a good fit?

Haven't found anything for it outside of what a simple google search would bring up. I had the 16rd mags capped at 15 so I'll settle for having just 3 mags. I did buy a Hogue Handall grip sleeve for it, haven't tried it out yet though.

Yeah, I go there whenever I'm home from school. Very friendly and I have never had to wait for a lane. They probably have about 8 pistol lanes and maybe 15 rifle (just my guesstimate). The range safety officers are knowledgeable and are always pleasant to talk to. Its really close to Tanners Sport Center so if you need more ammo its only like a 5 min drive.

I love how he justifies the holographic for fast target acquisition yet he mounts it in a place where you need to angle the gun sideways and change your grip to use it

I went through the Kingwood barracks on route 12 near Flemington. No complaints with them, just wish the process was faster. I'm definitely gonna wait till I move to WY to buy my next pistol

I'm lookin into this gun as well, I haven't seen it in any gun stores by me. I should imagine that GSG will keep making the new 522s to replace the GSG-5s and hopefully they will start importing them in sufficient numbers

Hunterdon county ftw! Took me about 3 months (all summer) to get my permit. I wanted to get an XDM 9 too but the stupid mag sizes killed that dream. Check out the FNH FNP-9, thats what I ended up getting and they are kinda similar

I love Kershaw knives, they definitely have the sharpest blades of any knife I've ever known. And the assisted opening is just plain BA
