Keep a set of electronic earmuffs next to your bed. If you have time use them. Most importantly, practice with an unloaded gun, getting the gun, and putting the ear protection on.

Christie changes his mind on CCW . He said this on Hannity beginning at 3:00 http://video.foxnews.com/v/4688898552001/christie-explains-how-his-stance-on-gun-laws-has-changed/?playlist_id=930909813001#sp=show-clips Then why is he fighting SAPPA in court? -

On February 16, 2016 the court will dismiss Chaplain Pupura's case. The Third Circuit has already ruled New Jersey can do as it pleases. SCOTUS has refused to hear any New Jersey challenges to " justifiable need". By not hearing any New Jersey cases, the Supreme Court has said New Jersey can do as it pleases, hence Chaplain Pupura's claim the federal courts are in cahoots with the state of New Jersey is moot. We live in a state that has no regard for the Second Amendment. Our only chance at ever being able to carry a firearm for self-defense in this state will be through federal legislation, ( national reciprocity), or a challenge under equal protection.

We have a winner. Several legal websites list the case number as 3:2015cv03534 with the New Jersey District Court. I have been unable to check the status of that case number online with the New Jersey District Court website. Who will be next to disappear?

Is it time to make an Emergent Application to SCOTUS to get "Justifiable Need" eliminated? The threat from radical Islam is real. The SAPPA case won't be heard for years. I know they don't want to hear about mag capacities and evil black guns, but they have ruled favorably on personal use of handguns in the recent past. We may be missing a very good chance to get good results in short order. -
Another PA man faces NJ gun charges
bobblackrifle replied to Howard's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
I am surprised no one has filed a federal lawsuit under the equal protection clause. We have a Constitution that has been annihilated. Equal protection under the Constitution may be their best defense, and our best hope of getting personal carry in this state. -
The NRA finally does something very positive for NJ, geared to the simplistic apathetic people that live here and your complaining? How about sharing that video with everyone you know? Maybe it will start something that will make needed change in this State.

There's another tick born illness I've read a little about, that makes you not want to eat meat. It's crazy I never want that, or lymes. So that's how the Zombie Apocalypse started.

If the rankings are based on "cost" of damages it makes sense.

I wish him luck. He has made the correct arguments against NJ law.

FID and Domestic Violence
bobblackrifle replied to SJG's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
The decision of the Appellate Court is typical for New Jersey. We have zero constitutional rights in this state. Unfortunately, due to the history of violence, and disputes within the household, I think this decision will be affirmed if appealed. -
It's been 3 years since I was there. Food was good, people were very friendly. I took 3 family members with me that were not hunters, but are now after each dropped hogs in their tracks with one shot. Shots ranged from 40 to 80 yards. I plan on going back this spring. Tell us your story when you get back.

I was in Cabela's in Christiana last night. They had a Ruger American RIfle in 308 For $359.00 on the rack. -
I think I have "the worlds worst semi auto handgun". It is a Sedco SP22. Sedco was only around about 4 months before they closed up shop. The gun was a freebie when I joined Crossroads Gun Club in Pennsauken back in the 90's. It has trouble feeding, ejecting, and going bang when you pull the trigger. And you need really good safety glasses cause there is a lot of blow back when it does go bang. It is held together with rubber bands and epoxy glue. Why do I keep it?It was free.

Someone school me on Leverguns
bobblackrifle replied to Kaiser7's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
I have 2 Marlin 336 in 30-30, made by Remington. They are junk. A Marlin pre-Remington with JM stamped on the barrel is a good gun. Winchester pre-1964 is better than post 1964. Winchester quality diminished somewhat after 1964. A good used Marlin or Winchester can be had in the $5-$800 range. Henry makes a good lever gun. -

Are forum members with a high post count more likely to be on a government list than low poster's? -
I have a TCP 738. The long trigger pull takes some getting used to. Once you master trigger control and holding onto a very small gun they are reasonably accurate and mine is very dependable. I like the slide lock feature on empty. I would buy another one. Remember, they are designed for bad breath distances, not 25 yard shots.
