No other State trains civilians to Police Standards. It is the wrong mindset. Requiring to shoot from a kneeling position as the rules require is not possible for a good percentage of those who will carry. No, in Heller the Court gave guidance on who can and can not own or carry. Gang members by any standard should not be able to own or carry. Leaving the gun on a park bench unattended is a separate issue.

Its not a "cool" answer, it is Mr Parkers right, and yours and mine. The State of Nj is in violation of the 2A. That is the entire issue.

The last time I read the 2A it said something like "the right to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED." Prohibiting John Parker from ownership of a firearm is obvious infringement and denial of a right.

Gura's statisical refrence to only"one hundreth of one percent of the States adult non LEO population" having a permit to carry is compelling. There is in effect no right to carry in this State. It will be difficult for the judges's to ignore that, with no statistical #'s to suport the AG's position.
