  1. My favorite argument I hear all the time on this forum is that 'being a douchebag' or something similar means that whatever happens negatively to that person 'they deserved'. Kind of an emotional opinion no? Who cares about any laws they may or may not have been breaking. If you are a douche, you deserve to be arrested, regardless. I hate when other people exercise rights too. Those people are always douchebags.
  2. Oh no! Not that! How dare him support something be legal...that multiple states already have and numerous more have decriminalized...excellent point.
  3. It very clearly is. Breaking the law and violating someone's rights at a stop that should never have occurred in the first place teaches nobody anything. Balls in your court.
  4. Well at least this is better then the cop who was in the backyard of the wrong home and open fire on a nonaggressive with kids playing nearby while trying to serve a warrant for an unregistered vehicle. Or the cop who shot a dangerous yorkie because he was afraid...
  5. MA is as big a clusterfugg as NJ. Won't be able to legally take your handguns to MA. NH is a non-issue. In NH, unless you possess a NH p&r license, ensure all firearms are simply unloaded while driving (no other requirements). You can open carry any loaded firearm, or conceal an unloaded pistol or revolver. I suppose if you could conceal it, I don't see any reason you couldn't lawfully carry a loaded long gun concealed.
  6. Someone is just full of meaningful posts, eh? "Lol Who really cares? True No one said it did. Talk to them"
  7. Doesn't all this first require someone underage actually buying alcohol? I'm no cop, but I'd say seeing this activity actually happen is far more effective then jumping on car hoods waving guns around.
  8. Did I see it correctly that he has 12 TWELVE felony convictions already? This isn't like he got a second chance. Yep, the criminal justice system definitely works...
  9. “There are different mechanisms in this gun that is for sure,” Edwards said" Maybe their old Sig Sauer's didn't have triggers or firing pins??? Or maybe these are new model Glocks that don't require the trigger to be pulled. Other then that, I'm not sure which 'different mechanisms' he is talking about that would cause an 'accidental' discharge. If he had lost a finger that would be one less 'mechanism' for this to happen again.
  10. “The agents were acting upon reasonable suspicion." I have reasonable suspicion that somebody or somebodies involved are overzealous morons. 6 agents to harass someone over not buying some beer, dear god I hope the story was wrong. I hope she at least had some root beer in the car...
  11. I haven't had many issues actually. The occasional round that took a more then 1 strike to fire in my revolver. Other then that, it actually shot pretty well in my semi-autos. Weird.
  12. Of course their should be discussion. I never suggested otherwise. Move? Yes, I suggest it! This is much more relevant to the thread and some good advice.
  13. How in the heck did we get on a discussion of the merit of the serpa holster when discussing carry options for running? I think the OP wanted something so he could go for a jog while carrying somewhat comfortable and not go for a jog while dodging land mines and gunfire and rolling around in the dirt and mud, but I've been wrong before. I stand by my previous comment that a belly band is probably most suited for running then most holsters, and certainly better then a serpa or other kydex or even leather retention holster....
  14. True it is heading that way. Fortunately for now, though that ideology is seeping in, and can be seen with some of the ridiculous bill proposals, they haven't passed yet and it is still mostly free. I made my escape back to NH after over 5 years in NJ last month. It is good to be back.
  15. I want to say 18 or 19. They were working on the first 3 last month but I imagine they are probably finished by now.
  16. 김현아 is who is in my avatar...and from that video too. I don't just like looking at pretty Korean girls, but that is definitely a plus!
  17. Here you go. Read it yourself. I think this is the one they are talking about. http://legistar.council.nyc.gov/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=1078151&GUID=D1949816-2C35-46C8-B8A9-897A3EFFAFFD&Options=ID|Text|&Search=racial+profiling The article was deceiving and there is some poor information out there. It doesn't prevent the reporting of a suspects description (race, age, disability). It is suppose to prevent general stop and frisk based off of it. How? No idea. Is it a good bill? Doesn't appear to be. Does it mean the only thing police can go off of is the color of ones shoes? Definitely not. I lied. Here it is. http://legistar.council.nyc.gov/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=1444267&GUID=BCB20F20-50EF-4E9B-8919-C51E15182DBF&Options=ID%7cText%7c&Search=profiling
  18. I'm still trying to figure out what the intended purpose of this firearm is. It doesn't appear to be very ergonomic. I can't imagine that grip is very comfortable. Having a charging rod right at the muzzle end is an interesting choice. It certainly isn't a target gun. Or a hunting gun. Emergency backup gun? I do like the idea of utilizing 10/22 magazines though. They appear to have lots of issues functioning properly. Hopefully they have been corrected.
  19. That is what the charges would seem to indicate, but considering the DC-9 was manufactured as a semi-auto, I have my suspicions. I'm thinking that the police haven't actually tested to see if it was FA yet and made a mistake. Looks can be deceiving.
