i'm putting self employed, which i am , i thought the nj2as is suing the state over adding more requirements to the application process and i thought that question was one of them .

when applying for a pistol permit , number 12 on the application is for you to write down your employers name so they can send him a employment reference letter, why do they want to no that , and do you have to fill that question out? thanks
