  1. It never went to court. My lawyer settled with the prosecutor and police chief. About a month before the court date I got a call to go pick up my permit.
  2. My original application for FID and purchase permit was denied. It was appealed and granted. I've been looking all over trying to get a definitive answer on this and can't seem to find it. If down the line I apply for a second purchase permit, on question #27 do I have to answer yes that I've been refused an application in the past. I've read that I would have to answer yes. I've also read that since it was appealed and I won the appeal that I do not have to answer yes.
  3. Thanks. I've already contacted Tony.
  4. I posted over the weekend, but I know there were problems with the forum. Just wanted to update you all that we went to BA on Saturday and got our money back, cash. No explination, no apology. I'm thinking the gun was never ordered, but who knows.
  5. Still no gun. I was last told the end of this week. If it's not in by then I'll be asking for my money back.
  6. That was my understanding at the time as well. Maybe I'm using the wrong term when I say conditionally discharged.
  7. No I don't mind. It was bs. The official reason given was "dangerous drug offense". The offense they were referring to was when I was 19 years old I was arrested for underage drinking and under 50g of marijuana (they found a roach in my ashtray). The charge was conditionally discharged. I was never in any sort of trouble after that. I unfortunately had to shell out the $ for an attorney and was then approved before we even had a hearing. So needless to say, between that and now the BA mess it's been a long and frustrating process.
  8. My wife had purchased a glock from them. Since it was in stock we had no issues. As I said, we had shot there and really liked the staff. Had I found this forum prior to placing my orders with them I definitely would NOT have bought through them and probably wouldn't have become a member either. As far as outreach I don't have any ideas off hand, but I can tell you I wish that I had found this forrum months ago. I've done a lot of research on the internet while applying for my permit (I was originally denied and went through an appeal)and would have loved some advice from everyone here while going through that process.
  9. Thanks for the offer about sure shot. Picked up the shotgun yesterday. They said it came in last week, but forgot to call. The other is "right behind it" according to them so we'll see. No, it's a Sig I'm waiting for now, but it sounds like I'm not the only one going through this with them now. I'm sure the employees there who have nothing to do with the ordering love getting calls everyday from pissed off people looking for guns they bought.
  10. Same here. After this whole ordeal I wish I didn't already purchase a membership, but since I did I'll continue to go until my membership expires, but I won't renew and won't spend anymore money there.
  11. Can you tell me if it's legal in NJ to have a Knoxx recoil reduction stock on a remington 870 12ga? I've read confilicting information.
  12. Thank you for the offer. Much appreciated. I called again today and the shot gun was in. Apparently they forgot to tell us it was there. The sig is "right behind" it. So we'll see. We do really like shooting there so we'll continue to go...live and learn on the purchasing part.
