  5. Axe, Wake up and smell the coffee! Do you see any pattern occurring? In 1938, the same conditions prevailed.....devide the populace(arian vs Jew who were successful businessmen)......control the media.......establish a small "armed" band to "occupy" local demonstrations......convince the arians that they should take from the successful.....regulate public through fear and violence...then confiscate arms. Similar divisions occurred in Rome years before when corruption overwhelmed the good people. History repeats itself when the populace are too complacent to learn from previous tyrants. The issue today is that "gun control" is being promoted instead of "crime control". Persecuting successful "earners" and restricting their rights will only imbolden the criminal actors. Your counsel here is well-intended, however you could benefit more from some of the wisdom shared by the many here on the forum. Spectre
  6. Vlad..... Check out the new Challenger with a Hemi. Nail it for 3 seconds and you're decision will be made. I rode in one last week and I'm still impressed. The Challenger handles like a can-am, rides like a crown-vic and launches like a rail. Take the Challenge and get back to me. Spectre

  9. I think that "Swift Coyote" may have something here! Read on: .........nonresidents of a State may carry concealed firearms in the State. (does not say you have to have your OWN state license) `Sec. 926D. Reciprocity for the carrying of certain concealed firearms `(a) Notwithstanding any provision of the law of any State or political subdivision thereof, related to the carrying or transportation of firearms, a person who is not prohibited by Federal law from possessing, transporting, shipping, or receiving a firearm, and who is carrying a government-issued photographic identification document and a valid license or permit which is issued pursuant to the law of a State and which permits the person to carry a concealed firearm, may carry a concealed handgun (other than a machinegun or destructive device) that has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce, in any State, other than the State of residence of the person, that-- `(1) has a statute that allows residents of the State to obtain licenses or permits to carry concealed firearms; or `(2) does not prohibit the carrying of concealed firearms by residents of the State for lawful purposes. `(b) A person carrying a concealed handgun under this section shall be permitted to carry a handgun subject to the same conditions or limitations that apply to residents of the State who have permits issued by the State or are otherwise lawfully allowed to do so by the State. Any legal minds that can clearly respond to this amendment???? Regards, Spectre

  13. Dick Winters lived in PA. Last year, I tried unsuccessfully to track him down. I think that he was located near Hershey. After several calls to "Winters", I couldn't find him. Few men could fill his shoes. The 101st & 82nd are the standards for airborne courage and excellence. President Bush was in Hershey in April, he called Winters “a fine example ... for those brave souls who now wear our nation’s uniform.” Ambrose, the author of “Band of Brothers,” said in a 2001 BBC interview that he hopes young people say. “I want to be like Dick Winters.” “Not necessarily as soldiers, but as that kind of leader, that kind of man, with basic honesty and virtue and an understanding of the difference between right and wrong,” Ambrose said.
