John, absolutely you can, but I will say, you will be much better off shooting the match. Never heard anyone say, awwww,,, wish I didn't do that, but I remember a bunch of time when people said I wish I listened and shot the match.. LOL

I thnk the newest rods I have I have i bought 30+ years ago, but they were all freshwater rods. Fenwick (SP?) and Diawa (SP?) reels. All ultra light rods and I think my Fly-Rod is the same make also, it's ben many years and I have them all at the house in AZ.

Got lost,,, lol Naa, just been real busy with a lot of other stuff, between my work, vacations, and closing my wifes business so she can try out what retirement is like has kept me busy as of late. Her fist day of retirement was today, so i will have a little more time now.

So Joe what did you wind up getting, I also broke down and got a camera, I was flipping coins between the D5200 and Canon T4i (T5i) didn't have enough difference to warrant the price difference for me so I got the T4i and am having a blast with it.
