  3. How long will it take for them to realize that concealed carry reduces crime... This just out from the State Police annual report via the Newark Patch, NJ.com. 56 Towns In New Jersey With Homicides: Newark Tops List We looked at the towns with the highest totals of homicides in 2012 and 2013 combined, as provided by the State Police's Uniform Crime Report. Our list only looked at towns with multiple homicides. 56 Towns, 697 Homicides Homicides in New Jersey jumped to a seven-year high in 2013, an increase prosecutors and police officials tied to understaffed departments, bloodshed in Trenton and the worst stretch of violence in Newark in nearly 25 years, according to NJ.com. The Star-Ledger survey of county prosecutors’ offices found at least 409 people died violently last year. The Newark killings, along with a triple murder in Irvington, contributed to a 20 percent increase in homicides in Essex County - the biggest jump of any county in the state, according to NJ.com. We looked at the towns with the highest totals of homicides in 2012 and 2013 combined, as provided by the State Police's Uniform Crime Report. Our list only looked at towns with multiple homicides. While towns such as Newark and Camden led the way, towns that were never to expected to appear on any such list, such as Toms River, are here. http://newarknj.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/55-towns-in-new-jersey-with-homicides-toms-river-on-list-newarknj
  4. You're right. But then, I could always carry in NC on any of the 5 CCW permits I already have which are all good in NC and make my purchases in PA.
  5. That is one of the reasons I am just over the border in NC - Brunswick County. And with a NC resident CCW permit I can carry in PA.
  6. I've got a place just north of Myrtle Beach in NC but I'm not a resident...yet.
  7. I do believe that Texas is the only one but requires instate training. New Hampshire changed their renewal and permitting process to require a home state CCW permit before they would give you one of theirs.
  8. I've been here a while, but I cannot believe that it's not up to the judges as to whom them approve NJ CCW for similar to upstate NY. I suppose they do not want to be the one who approved it should an incident with a CCW holder occur. Perhaps this data on which judges are approving NJ CCW permits is available through the freedom of information act.
  9. Anybody know a pro 2A judge that would approve a NJ CCW permit? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  10. I got my New Hampshire permit a month before the requirements changed. So I'm good for another 2 and a half years. Maybe I'll be living in Pennsylvania by then. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  11. I need to look into dual residency for NJ and PA and then get a PA CCW permit.
  12. That's how I see it. They are trying to get her impeached... http://www.philly.com/philly/news/politics/20140506_ap_7cfff37b94e647bbbb064d1837936bb4.html
  13. I just confirmed with Amber in the Utah Dept of Public Safety that the Utah site has changed this morning to indicate that PA no longer honors the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. Damn. Are we now down to only New Hampshire that is valid? http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci/FAQother.html PennsylvaniaUtahReciprocity.pdf
  14. My last two permits from Bridgewater took 4 weeks this March. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. How can you buy from an Armslist listing without getting screwed? They suggest an escrow service but where do I find one?
  16. Starting in 2013, it became legal to charge customers extra if they use a credit card, and retailers can even require a minimum purchase amount when you use a credit card. If merchants decide to use credit card surcharges, they have to follow a few rules: · The fact that there is a surcharge must be clearly disclosed to you before any transaction · The credit card surcharge must be shown on your receipt · The surcharge can’t exceed the amount the retailer pays or 4% (you pay the lesser of these two, typically 2-3%)
  17. I had the same issue with my G19 Gen4. Glock sent me a new recoil spring assembly (RSA) to handle the recall on the older RSA. I had called them to complain about the brass ejecting backwards. My original ejector was a #336 and they sent me a free replacement ejector #30274. The new ejector has a squared off end on it rather than a pointed tip and a more aggressive bend. It fixed the problem.

    Gssf question

Joining with a 2 year membership should get you a coupon to use now. You'll get another when you renew for $25 at the end of your current membership. I have seen the price savings of about $100 off and on the full size models you should get an extra magazine... 3 with the blue label models instead of 2.
  19. Surplus Ammo has them for $23. Ammunition Depot for $23.47 Widener's for $23.75 Locally you'll pay $30 - $40 if they have any in stock.
  20. Thought I'd pass this along. This is one of the vendors where I get my full power 10mm ammo, not your typical .40 or 10mm FBI Light loads.
  21. They are having a Spring sale giving you 10% off of your entire order when you use the code: Spring1410 during checkout in the "promo code" box. www.doubletapammo.com
