Thanks for all the responses. Turns out my brother just started a new job not too far from dixons and picked some up for me last week.

I finally ran out of real black (my dad had many lbs of it that i've been working off of for a couple years now) and now i find out i can't get it anywhere. Is there anywhere in Norh Jersey/eastern PA/southern NY still selling it? Thanks.

I have the FNP45 w/decocker. I just don't like safeties and don't mind the DA pull (which IS a little long but it ain't so bad that accuracy at a distance where it would matter suffers too much). I do not have large hands at all but with the straight back strap (mmmmm backstrap...) the pistol is very comfortable and accurate to shoot (with the curved it was almost unbearable) and as lunker said above the recoil is next to nothing and the sweetness of the SA trigger more than makes up for the first DA pull. Mine absolutely HATES S&B FMJ, everything else runs through it perfectly.

it's just visible in google maps satilite photos follow Rt 15N from Thirsty moose and you'll see kind of an unimproved road leading to cleared "lanes" in the trees. there appears to be an entrance (drop curb anyway) on 15 rigt before the third lane opens up I always blow past it too fast and forget to try and pull off onto it....

Driving northbound on Rt. 15 through Jefferson there appears to be a small range down in the valley on the right hand side roughly opposite the Thirsty Moose (RIP) in Jefferson Twp, Morris County NJ. Anyone know what it is? Just curious, drive by it every day.

Yeah I just didn't see 25m as a day in day out practical pistol distance,sure it's shootable and fun but it's just not what a short barrel weapon is made for at least to my mind. Thanks for the welcome and all the input, folks. have a nice weekend, supposed to warm up a bit!

was searching around and stumbled upon this forum lots of good stuff, killed an hour already! My apologies if this is a repeat, I searched most of the CR topics but didn't find what I was looking for. Thinking of joining Cherry Ridge since i finally moved to sussex but they say the pistol range has 25yd and up target points. can you set your targets closer than 25yds? add removeable feet to their accepted target frame design? thanks!
