  1. That's one of the places we went haha. Been a rough year for the Mountaineers with the Big 12 move. Hopefully we recruit well because it's a lot different than dominating the big east haha. I miss WV...wish I never left.
  2. We took fire roads out into the woods and found a secluded place with a natural berm to shoot into. That was the nice part. You didn't need to go to a range just had to be beyond a certain distance from houses. We were probably miles from the nearest house.
  3. I know a lot of us have been doing this...I've done it myself. All I'm saying is if you can do it, do it again because now is our time to turn the tide in our favor.
  4. Why does your tank hold 15 gallons? Can't you get places just fine with 5 gallons?
  5. So I'll admit it. I grew up in a non-gun owning household. I had no knowledge of firearms other than what I saw on tv. Moving into college I didn't understand why people needed "assault rifles" and was pretty "liberal" when it came to gun control because I didn't know any better. That was until a friend found out I had never shot a gun. My buddy Alan immediately offered to take me shooting and show me the ropes. We went out one day and shot a bunch of firearms (the first thing I pulled the trigger in was a 10mm). Needless to say my opinion was forever changed. I was taught safety, respect, and most importantly that guns weren't evil. I now own several guns including the "evil" AR. I'm sure many of you are wondering what is my point here... As a teacher I'm assigning you all a homework assignment. The next few weeks are going to be monumental when it comes to 2A rights as you all know. Your assignment is to take someone who has never shot before shooting. Try to pick someone on the fence and help sway their opinion. The more people whose mind we change the better. Please post your experiences here. I plan on taking my sister who is pretty anti-gun. She already agreed she'd go at least once. Thanks for reading guys and good luck.
  6. I have no idea. I set up the thread in bucket 3 without a poll. Someone put it in general firearms discussion with a poll. I'd like to know as well.
  7. Mine would be a conversion. Not sure about the other guys though.
  8. That's if they grandfather. I'm glad I picked up my Saiga 7.62 though.
  9. WTF is an assault magazine? I don't get why people can't understand the difference between standard capacity and high capacity or for that matter an adjective and a verb.
  10. Yeah it's back. Seems the only thing they don't have is triggers but they have almost everything else you need...depending in what you want to do with your build. I'm looking to go all wood classic look with mine. My "tactical" gun will always be my AR
  11. I would love to see every EBR owner march on Capitol hill.
  12. Glad to see these companies coming together in support of the 2nd Amendment. Hopefully they all back out.
  13. My school is atrocious when it comes to security. Sad part is it was built in 05 and is a "modern " school.
  14. I just picked up a Saiga 7.62 and so did my buddy. I'm going to need about 2 months or so to scrounge some extra cash and find the parts but I'd be in.
  15. Seems like you've never been to WV. Beautiful state with a lot of great people. It's a shame we judge a state based on bias and a select portion of the population. That would be like everyone judging jersey based off our worst (Camden, Newark, etc...). I spent 5 great years in the state of WV and made many great friends including the ones that introduced me to firearms and shooting.
  16. She can fondle my pistol grip any time she wants.
  17. Awesome patch. Need it to see grab AR though
  18. I agree. I had so many people ask me to take them shooting an show them the ropes. Now I feel like everywhere I turn someone is demonizing our hobby.
  19. I know this just saying that now everything is an assault weapon. Also the hi point's mag fits in the pistol grip like a handgun.
