I'm pretty sure no "assault weapons" we're used in any of those shootings. Columbine was during the AWB and I believe one weapon was a hi point 9mm carbine but doubt that's an "assault rifle". Fort Hood was an FN 5.7 pistol and Tuscon was a glock. These politicians make me sick. They can't even get their facts straight before they try to ram some feel good legislation down our throats just trying to make a name for themselves.

Hopefully not true although I hope he expects the citizens to fire back.

On my way to work listening to 1010 and they reported Groupon was removing all firearm related coupons. The ones I've scene usually involve range time, training, and clays. They cited feedback from customers.

I think the media is jumping on any gun related story they can get to help push the agenda. Notice there's still no stories about all the gang bangers getting shot every day because that makes people fear crime and want a gun.

Hopefully one of the mods can take care if that because it's a great idea. Someone good with creating images should post one we could all share on Facebook and other social media as well.

According the poll (in general firearms discussion) we have about 62 people confirmed for the rally on the 8th. That's about 1.4% of the 4300+ members of this forum. I think we really need to get our @sses in gear folks.

I won't shop there any more on principal. I'd rather pay a little extra to support a shop that supports the 2nd amendment.

Thought this would be a good idea to see how many NJGFers are going to the rally. Let's keep it simple. Only one post in this thread saying "I'm in". If you're not going don't post here at all. Don't post other then saying I'm in. Don't reply to others posts once you've said "I'm in". Want to discuss the rally do it in the thread for that. By post count we should get a good estimate of how many and who are going. I'm in.

He may be a good CEO and VP but they really need a spokesperson like i said...he's just not that guy.

Wish the NRA would find a new spokesperson. Lapierre isn't too good when it comes to speaking. They need a younger person who would relate more to the younger generation and encourage more younger shooters to join. A Travis Haley type guy...younger, war hero, intelligent, easy to relate to. Lapierre seems a little out of touch.

I had a huge argument at a faculty meeting because two kids got in trouble for playing "guns" with their fingers. Apparently they were smiling "shooting" at each other and some girl told the teacher she felt uncomfortable. I was the only one that though it was ridiculous that they got yelled at and their parents got called. People suck, what can I say.

That works...I'd love to see a huge group get off the train and head to the capitol together

:Guys the 8:02 out of Secaucus will get us to Trenton by 9:24. There's also a 8:22 that will get us there by 9:44. Probably the 8:02 is the best bet. Let me know what you all think.
