My closest friend (a gun enthusiast himself) once told me that one should focus on a particular niche of firearms. I don't entirely agree with that, but just the same my favorite types of firearms included those used by American law enforcement over the years and firearms from World War II ...interesting combination, right? I also (obviously) have an affinity for Ruger as they (IMO) embody qualities I look for most in a firearm: durability/ruggedness, reliability and economy.
Besides that, I would consider myself interested in the more political side of gun laws (probably b/c of the outrageous gun control rules in place in this state). I hate to be preachy or harp on a subject, but if you have not joined the NRA or SAF I strongly recommend you get involved. Together, I feel we can challenge the pro-gun control status quo in Trenton and fix a broken system of unjust gun regulations that punish the private, law-abiding gun owner and does nothing to alleviate a very real crime problem we have in our urban locales in the Garden State
