Hi, I puchased a new Glock 45 9mm from online site Guns America and just had a chance to inspect and dry fire. The trigger will not reset! It just says locked back. I cant figure out what is the issue. I disassembled and everything looks in order, that I can see. Any thoughts? Any thoughts? Thanks Michael

Ok, many I am just lucky to be in Robbinsville. The old system I got my permits in 10 days. Even today, when the detective call me to tell me they are ready, he apologized for taking so long, as if 3 weeks is too long.

Hi, I am pleasantly surprised with the new on line FARS system. I applied on line exactly 3 weeks ago today and I just got the call my form PD 2 permits are ready for pickup. 3 weeks, not bad at all. I am in Robbinsville (Mercer Co). I got to wonder if all these horror stories about 5, 6 month wait time is "fake news".

Hi, I just completed the FARS system this morning successfully, got instant email confirmation and my 2 references got their forms are both submitted. However, there was NO mention at all about a mental health form!? Do I need to call my PD and fill out something out? I dont want this process held up so I am just wondering about this? Thoughts??

Hi, I am a Robbinsville resident (Mercer Co.). I have applied and received handgun permits with the Robbinsville PD over the last 10 years, using the old paper system to apply for permits. This is the first time I am using the new FARS all online application process. I just did it this afternoon. I am wondering if this process is just as quick turnaround time? Robbinsville was always fairly quick, with typically 3 weeks for me to get the call to pick up my permits. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts who have used the FARS systems to apply for permits. EXACTLY what is the official , proper, legal way that NJ wants owners to dispose of all their 15 round magazines?? I have yet to hear or see the official statement of this from NJ! Do you just throw the away?? Turn them in to local PD or State Police?? Will we be reimbursed?? Can someone here please clear this up?? I have 6 of them and want to comply legally and properly.
