  1. how do you know for a FACT that the person is not a threat, you don't. the person just broke into a residence WITH people in it, you have no idea what their intentions are. they could be sitting at the dining room table watching sponge bob in a onsie and that doesn't mean they are not a threat to you. the charges wouldn't stem from the arriving officers they will come from the detectives and the prosecutors office. the arriving officers could be fine with it, but who knows what if anything the detectives/prosecutors could/would charge you with
  2. my dept has 10 steps for every rank. when you get promoted to the next rank you drop down 3 steps. so if you are a step 8 officer you drop down to a step 5 sergeant. then if it takes you 2 years to make Lt. you drop down to a step 4 Lt. every step is a new salary base.
  3. i'm surprised DaTruth didn't chime in with his ever so intelligent thoughts
  4. just got the letter from my town today that both my P2P's are in. took 26 days.
  5. permit form, mental health consent form, and the CCH (criminal history form).
  6. Westampton PD, burlington county wants the usual 3 forms and a 4th form that entitles them to do a background check and contact your work. the form states it's good for 1 year from the date it is signed.
  7. with the USP and the S&W i should break even. i'm only asking $500 for the USP and i'm pretty sure my dad wants it. the USP is a DAO trigger and has the heavy 12lb trigger pull and the only to modify it with the LEM trigget is for it to go back to H&K since it's a first gen USP which would cost close to $400 with shipping, parts, and labor. i only paid $500 for the gun. The M&P has a better trigger, holds more rounds, and is more readily able to be modified. believe me i LOVE H&K and i'm still happy with my p2000sk, but the trigger on the USP is a big issue with me.
  8. i've only shot the USP, and P2000sk. both of which i love
  9. yup, but it's close to double the price and holds less rounds.
  10. if i like the fullsize i'm already thinking of buying the compact for off duty use lol
