  1. You could try wearing gloves when shooting. My Springfield Armory 45 also has a very agressive grip. I wear MechanixWear gloves when I know I'm going to shoot it at the range. The gloves also help when my range is a little chilly indoors.
  2. I emailed GFH and made an appointment just to get fingerprinted there. No need to wait for a class.
  3. FTWD jumped forward in time so right now, it's ahead of TWD. It's rumored that TWD will make a similar jump so it'll once again be further in time than FTWD.
  4. I ordered one of their 48 count K-cup sample boxes and an enamel mug. So far I like it but not sure if it'll replace my donut shop K-cups.
  5. Demented in Middlesex Boro https://www.dementedbrewing.com http://www.nj.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2017/04/central_jersey_brewery_named_njs_best_craft_brewer.html
  6. I have AT&T and installed a free app called Call Protect. It has cut down on the amount of spam calls I get. For my home phone, Verizon has teamed up with a service called NoMoRobo. It's free for my landline.
  7. GFH did mine. I emailed Charlie and made arrangements for day and time.
  8. Apparently cigars are considered a prohibited good now too.
  9. I created a group named 'New Jersey Gun Forums' for anyone that wants to join.
  10. I was also upset it didn't come in a Pelican case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I just got it yesterday but already put 50 dry fire rounds through it.
  12. The review I read said it was pretty durable. https://www.range365.com/mantisx-firearms-training-system-gear-test#page-14
  13. I've only had mine a couple days but I like it so far. I thought about getting one of those laser training systems but they only help with dry fire. I like how this will work with live fire as well.
  14. Anyone have the MantisX training system? I just heard about it and after watching a few videos, I picked one up on Amazon. It provides feedback during dry or live fire. If others have it, Maybe we could create a group and compete against each other.
  15. I haven't ruled out CZ. I just don't know much about them. I'll take a look at the HK. I've also thought about Beretta, either the PICO or the 92FS.
  16. Under $1000. Preferably around $500-600. Wouldn't want to piss the wife off.
  17. Finally got my permits. Only took 60 days this time instead of 90. Picked up a Taurus PT1911. Now to start thinking about permit #2.
  18. I submitted paperwork about a week ago so I have time to decide what to get. I know one of the permits will be for a 1911. The other two, I'm at a loss to decide. I already have a S&W SD9 (non VE), Ruger Mark III 22/45, and a S&W 500. For the 1911, I'm leaning towards Colt (either series 70 or 1991). I vaguely remember years ago, when I bought my Mosin Nagant rifle from AIM Surplus, there was a C&R pistol AIM would have occasionally (Mosin revolver?). Worse case scenario, I use one of the permits to transfer my father's 44 Magnum into my collection.
  19. I put in for three permits about a month ago and still haven't narrowed down what to get. Some of the items on my wishlist are: S&W500 M&P Shield 38 revolver or 380 pistol 1911 Right now, I'm leaning towards the 500, Shield and either the 38 or 380. I may hold off on the 1911 for a bit. I already have a 22lr Ruger and a S&W SD9.
  20. My first (and only) 9mm was a S&W SD9 (before the VE).
  21. DVR is set to record but I have a feeling I'll wanna throw it out the window after 5 minutes knowing how unbiased CNBC is.
  22. Last Saturday, I picked up the 10/22 I ordered last month. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Just got notification that mine shipped today and should be at the FFL on Monday. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
