  1. I haven't used a coinstar in a while, but I always redeemed for Amazon credit. Not exactly as good as cash, but if you do any buying on Amazon it's an option.
  2. My dad has a 2008 f150 v6 automatic. At 56k the tranny went. After that I was certain if I ever got a pickup truck it would be a Tacoma
  3. I believe I'm using a 3/8" nap roller. Primed this time, thanks to Zeke for the suggestion. First coat of paint was dabbed with a brush, 2nd with the roller. Damnit, the top is still too high, but it's better...
  4. Thanks I'm spackling again! Should I be priming the spackle after painting?
  5. I used a Dap spackling kit. Went on pink and tried white. I also used a roller to apply the paint, figuring it would avoid brush strokes. Let me give it a little sanding and see what happens. Thanks!
  6. before After This is my first time doing any drywall work, I wanted to get rid of an old thermostat. It looks "ok", but I'm thinking about giving it another shot because it's in such a visible location. Any tips on how to get the patched area to blend better with the wall?
  7. I can't believe Hunterdon is going to be 24-30, huge change in what was estimated.
  8. This is the first real doozy were headed into with my interlock and Generac 6500 combo ready to go. Without starting a war of opinions, plasma tv, PC, router safe to run on the "dirty" power?
  9. I do Hunterdon county off 78 to downtown Manhattan 5 days a week. Good days and bad, sun glare plays into it a lot, right now I'm leaving my house at 5:45 to avoid traffic
  10. David Zappulla was very thorough when I used him for my purchase last year

Just picked up a UV-5RA, debating what to do about the antenna.. read good things about the Nagoya NA-771, anyone use it?
  12. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm in Bethlehem Twp, so those places are an hour+ away. Would prefer to stay closer, but if they are the best I would def consider it. Is Heritage Guild good for bow sales?
  13. Got my hunting license 2 years ago with the intention of getting into deer hunting, but only did some squirrel with air rifle.. Seeing bucks in my area, the deer bug has bitten me once again. I have a shotgun hunting license, but what I'd really like to try is bow. I have the yard to practice with it, so I just need the equipment. Any suggestions for a good store that will help match me up with the right bow? How is Cabelas in this department?

Currently studying for Technician with the ARRL book.. Somehow randomly became interested in this when I started looking at simple walkie talkies. Dusted off an old scanner I had and started listening to 2m and figured why not get involved. Looking forward to possibly connecting with you guys when I get my license
  15. I think you also get to skip the field walk if you take the online course.
  16. Goto a local pro and forget the big box hardware stores for keys. I made that mistake once for a simple deadbolt key. They got it wrong twice. Didn't bother to go back a third time, local guy got it right as expected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Bump, might be looking to unload another. 2013 1 oz. I'm in Hunterdon, pm me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. i thought of this thread today as my brake went to the floor after a hard stop on I-78 E this morning. doing atleast 75mph, miracle I didnt wreck. saving grace was traffic ahead of me didnt come to a stop and i was able to drift into the right lane and stop safely with e-brake. line was rusted, just got the call from the shop. knew it would be, car is old. i feel embarrassed, i take pride in doing my own oil changes, brake pads, etc, yet I overlooked replacing the rusted lines. friendly reminder to my fellow jersey, salt & snow drivers... check those lines...
  19. Looks like that 7000 running HF generator is 549 right now..
  20. How's that HF generator been treating you? While I'd love a Honda or other very reputable brand, for my purposes of infrequent power failures, it's hard to justify big bucks.
  21. Can anyone recommend someone to install an interlock kit? This is something I want to get within the next few months
  22. Absurd. I work with an FX desk and haven't heard a word about this. A credible event would have already been priced into markets Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. The one time I spoke to the seller at the house, he showed me two or three "crowns" and said I'd need to maintain them if I ended up getting the driveway snow plowed. The crowns are barely noticeable at this point. It's not like I neglected it for months, this literally happened overnight. I'm just wondering what he would have done if he were still here. Unfortunately the relationship soured and I won't be reaching out.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
